Fox News: US Defense "cannot confirm"... wish they'd all get on the same page here.

it has been pretty clear to many observers (despite naysayers here and other places) that DPRK had at least a couple of nukes, and with all the time they have had it is hard to imagine them not having more now.

The main impact of this is that it forces the players to quit living in pretend-land where dprk is 'working' on a nuke and to actually deal with the reality that has been allowed to develop over the last decade+.

CNN anchor wondering now whether China might go for sanctions against NK. That makes me feel better. Maybe the UN will get tough now. :-) (sarcasm)

________

I know they don't get it.

Wonder what the President will say to the nation and to the world? He has to handle this right. It will be interesting to see if the dems say this is his fault and if so what do they propose to do about it. This should help the Republicans in the election...but they need to handle it right. Unsure how this plays out.

Seems silly to worry about certain things all of a sudden.

(wink).

Foxnews is now saying that China warned the US, South Korea and Japan 20 minutes before the test that it is going to happen.

"I suspect Japan had already been planning on a nuke program."

I cannot help but think they have a program separated by 'chinese walls' which only requires minimal assembly to be a completed nuke.

You "give it up" and stop posting like an hysteric.

From the beginnings of time, people all over it, didn't want the world to as it was. Thankfully, there was no outlet, especially an immediate one, back then and they couldn't whinge at so many, fro such long periods of time.

How old are you and no lying.

How at risk are American's living in SOUTH Korea right now? I have a nephew that lives in Seoul

We should have a better picture of that tomorrow. It will depend on how the US and South Korean governments react. My guess is that it will be strong considering the extremely strong wording that recently came out of the US government the past week. We rarely here the US government talk real tough and they have the past few days warning the North Koreans.

Possibly the same could be said of Iran.

John F'n had a little something to do with that, IIRC....
