CLAIM: FILTHY FOLEY ONLINE MESSAGES WERE PAGE PRANK GONE AWRY
**World Exclusive**
**Must Credit the DRUDGE REPORT**
According to two people close to former congressional page Jordan Edmund, the now famous lurid AOL Instant Message exchanges that led to the resignation of Mark Foley were part of an online prank that by mistake got into the hands of enemy political operatives, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.
According to one Oklahoma source who knows the former page very well, Edmund, a conservative Republican, goaded an unwitting Foley to type embarrassing comments that were then shared with a small group of young Hill politicos. The prank went awry when the saved IM sessions got into the hands of political operatives favorable to Democrats.
The primary source, an ally of Edmund, adamantly proclaims that the former page is not a homosexual. The prank scenario was confirmed by a second associate of Edmund. Both are fearful that their political careers will be affected if they are publicly brought into the matter.
The prank scenario only applies to the Edmund IM sessions and does not necessarily apply to any other exchanges between the former congressman and others.
The news come on the heels that Edmund has hired former Timothy McVeigh attorney, Stephen Jones.
Developing...
Isn't this interesting?
Not being a purist, We appreciate the WEALTH of info on other sites.
NUFF SAID.
Couldn't tell you...I'm a college basketball guy...
Do you think CREW recruited Edmund to go after Foley in the AOL IM chats? Maybe they got Foley's AOL screen name from Kirk. Or maybe Kirk was using Foley's AOL account.
Thanks for the info!I was thinking of the Hewlett Packard thing, but the kid is going to claim this was just an innocent prank that got out of control. I am thinking that it's starting to look not so innocent to me,,,,,,,,
No it's NOT alright for a 52 yr old gay congressman to hit on them, if he did.
The point your missing is he did not break the law.
welcome... 07/06 joiner.... wierd.
Welcome 07/06 guy... another one. hmmmmmm wierd.
Stop whinging kid, that will NOT be condoned here.
You posted, at post #1985 ".....listening (sic) to Mr. "nopardons" you would think that Foley was just a generally nice guy."
There it is kid, now go away. You are REALLY out of your depth here, you don't know any of the rules ( not all of which are to be found on FR's front page, nor even at the bottom of the posting page ), and you are wasting my time and the time of others, with what has now devolved into just a kid looking for attention.
LOL
I was watching a few minutes of Scarborough tonight and I've got some questions. He (scar) said that three congress men (Fordham being one , can't remember the others) told Hastert over the past year or more about Foley and that Hastert simply says "I don't recall those conversations". If this is true it doesn't sound like a good answer from Hastert.
Can anyone help me on this??

The Republicans went to Foley and told him to knock it off.
Had they made a bigger deal out of it, especially with seemingly innocent comments, the radical gay rights 'RATS would have rioted in the streets, screaming that the Republicans were gay-bashing.
They were in a difficult spot, and did what they could considering the lack of evidence of page-sexual-abuse.
As soon as they learned of the virtual sex IMs (now explained by Jordan Edmond's friends as a gay-bashing prank gone awry), the Republican leadership took action.
I think the voters are not as stupid as the 'RATS and the MSM thinks they are.
There are more than 77 THOUSAND hits on this thread. I could only guess at the number of hits on Drudge's story. The MSM may not be reporting the whole story, but people are learning. Hastert is doing OK.
It was really bad timing (but good timing if you're a 'RAT) when this story hit the news - the politicians were out in their districts, so a quick and coordinated party response was difficult.
Don't fret about the elections just yet. Karl Rove has Osama in a Freezer in McLean, VA and will begin thawing him out soon.
;-)
As a Viking Kitty, I rather enjoy playing with mousey trolls, for a bit. ;^)
I doubt that it is Soros, or one of his covers; though.
The oddness of your being here may or may not draw you in to the Shite storm about to hit. Hope you are clean kid.
I always thought he was gay.
The "oddness of my being here"? Could you give me a little more info?
FR Poster Fawn has data too. She pegged Mark Foley's IM screen id to her "let me know when this poster comes on line". Yes, while Mr. Foley was out, someone with the identical ID came online.
Do I have this right, Fawn? I read this last night.
There's a pinch of MD4Bush inside this "laundering scandal".
For the record, I've not once referred to Mark Foley as a pervert, a sinner, etc. and because all I've heard and read has been hearsay from the MSM and the Democrats. Emotionally, I haven't gotten to the "adult age of consent versus child" -- and simply because the first premise of SUBSTANTIVE EVIDENCE of "charge" HAS BEEN HORRIBLY LACKING.
I don't forget MD4Bush NOR the Nifong-ing of innocent Duke La Crosse Players.
And yes, I do have experience with IMs. Some, very good and educational. Long ago. But when a live "chat-er" (IM, then) calling himself by the name of an esteemed conservative began cussing me out, I never used chat again, refused to go on IM when it became available. I knew I was being harassed, abused, and certainly set up.
Tampering with "live chat" logs is easy to do. All you need is the log. And you can tamper away. You can even email the logs to your friends so they can tamper with 'em.
One other thing, I've also learned over the years? It has to do with the national and international "cyber system". Duplicate "IM names" can occur on some internet provider systems. That is, MAF54, in the US, and suddenly there can appear a MAF54, but only if you track it can you determine or learn the "IMer" is actually either in the US using a mirror site in a foreign country, or simply IM'ing from another country. I haven't ascertained recently whether this still applies. But I have made note that not so long ago, quite a number of US credit cards and paypal purchases were accomplished at source points in non-US countries.
Liberals have been using "mirror" and shadow sites for at least 10 years. Just check out some of the extreme radical left sites, and begin digging through the links, as I have. You will find an amazing network which spans the world of mirror sites, deflecting the "source" of the sender through multiple hosts.
The FBI does need to look into this. And Frankly, I think Hastart, spurned by Bela Pelosi, should also demand a formal investigation into Democrat computer logs, and the investigation SHOULD be headed by none other than Louis Freeh.
Thanks for reading, Mo1.
Don't laugh!
