Um no. I was using the internet in 95 and 96 and FTP, Telnet, Gopher, and Mosaic were the only protocals in existance. WWW had just begun and IM was unknown until the turn of the century.

The IMs I read said he was underage for DRINKING which is 21. I didn't see any that said he was underage for sex. I'm not saying they didn't exist... just that I didn't see them.

The Dems will now be seen to be bashing a gay man for having private communications with a gay man. Their retreat will be complete, or they risk offending their gay supporters.
This is turning into a major screw up for them, and in fact could hurt them overall if they are seen as collaborating with ABC in their version of Rathergate.
