Attorney: Foley Was Molested as a Teen by a Clergyman
WASHINGTON — Former Rep. Mark Foley was molested between the ages 13 and 15 by a clergyman, his attorney Mark Roth told reporters late Tuesday.
Foley also wants Americans to know that he is a gay man but he never had sexual contact with a minor, Roth said. Foley was admitted on Saturday night to a mental health facility, where he will remain for at least 30 days.
Roth said Foley wanted to release the name and religious affiliation where his alleged molestation occurred, but was advised by civil counsel to delay naming names at this time. However, details of the clergyman, the timeframe and the situation will be released when counsel advises Foley to do so.
I TIVO'd O'Reilly tonight and just now finished watching the segment. My husband thinks Woodward is not being fair to POTUS and I happen to agree with him.
THAT is what I meant when I said BOR drooled on Woodward....whew...I am glad I am not alone in seeing that.

This story is not a story worth following, other than learning what the Dims knew, when they knew it, when they got together and decided to with-hold what they knew until now and which of them led and/or participated in the organization of the drip, drip, drip of the story and the IMs to the media and the agenda for the timetable that they and the media are following - instead of actually seeking to "protect the pages" by immediately, back whenever, making there "evidence" known.
Today, as if on que, we have a 527 org calling registered Rebuplicans and telling them why the GOP congressional leadership should resign over this story.
Schumer's attack machine is working on over-time now and will be for the next month.
If a story about Foley is not where and how the Foley storey has been held back (the salacious IMs) and then set-up for this time-period by the Dims, then it is irrelevant.

I don't know if there is any truth to his story. I'm inclined to think it's just deflection.

Haven't heard that before, but it is unusually typical of homosexuals to grow up in households with dysfunctional or non-existent relationships to/with their fathers.
It's not PC to talk about, but before homosexuality was removed as a disorder in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, this was cited as an underlying cause. Many studies have shown an unusually high incidence of absent or dysfunctional fathers in homosexual men's rearing.
