When I'm finished with my current website project, I might set that up. I mean, I'm not about to go storming into zoos and setting animals free. But these cop vs kitten / kangaroo boxing stories make me mad enough to want to seriously brand these monsters and put their addresses on the web for all to see. They'd probably sue me, but it would almost be worth it.

You missed a few other do's and don'ts to protect yourself from criminal assaults like these.
Also don't have any kind of gun knowingly or unknowingly that the BATF don't think you should. And don't owe the IRS and not pay up. And don't find your home mistaken for another's. And don't mistake the swat team bursting into your home in the middle of the night for some street thugs who invade homes in the same manner shouting police!

I make it a habit to learn from the experiences of others so that I can hopefully avoid a similar nightmare. Course there is always the chance my home could be mistaken for another's, or some informant has a vendetta against me (often, that is all it takes to create these assaults.)
Moreover, I have a sincere respect for the principles of individual liberty, the right to keep and bear arms, the right to be safe and secure in our persons and our property. Now if respecting those principles makes me a "Libertine," then where do I sign up? Because those principles deserve respect from law enforcement and all govt agencies. They are the basis of the law of the land.
And if "Libertines" are now the only one's demanding they be respected, and obviously you despise "Libertines," what does that make you and others like you?

Funny you should mention BBQ. This happened to me and my son. In July of this year there was a burn ban here. I was in my front yard, (dirt because the grass all died, 60'+ from any house tree and such) around 5:30pm or so. Lit up the old grill, to cook some stakes. Guess what? Yep you guessed it! A few mins later... "Here comes the Gestapo!" Two squad cars came up to a screeching halt! They jumped out,(Yes, screeching halt, and they "jumped out" and at a almost run came over to me, and my 10 year old son, I'm surprised they didn't draw down on me) And told me:
Gestapo Squad Leader: "Don't you know there is a burn ban?"
Peon: Yes Sir I do, I'm cooking steaks on my grill. It says no camp fires, or burning of trash.
Gestapo Squad leader: "Well its against the law, there is a ban".
Peon: For me to cook something to eat?
Gestapo Squad leader: Well yes... (As he looks over at the other SS officer).
Peon: It is against the law for me to cook on a grill with nothing around that I can catch on fire? I have my water hose right there. What if I don't have any other way to cook something for my family to eat other than on this grill?
Gestapo Squad Leader: (Looking over at his buddy) Hang on...
They walk away from me, Talk for a few minutes. The leader gets into his petrol car, (calling for backup). (Now I'm getting pi**ed...)
All the while I'm getting ready to put in the foil wrapped onions, (onion, butter, salt, and black pepper).
Around 5-10 mins later, here comes the Fire Department. (Yep, the Fire Department) Two of 'em get out. They all talk and I over hear the good Guys, (Fire Department Men, their about 20' from me) telling the SS Squad Leader, that is is ok to cook on a gas grill or a charcoal grill. The SS Leader comes over to talk to me...
Gestapo Squad Leader: It is only ok to use a gas grill or a charcoal grill! (He's all next to himself).
Peon: OK, This is a charcoal grill!
Gestapo Squad Leader: Well your not using charcoal your using "Wood!"... (Haha, Yes, He did say that. Kind of funny, telling it now, It wasn't at the time).
Peon: "Give it another 5 mins. and it will be charcoal!" (The Fire Men laugh at that point...)
Gestapo Squad Leader: (He's kind of red at this point), Just make sure you put the fire out when your through!
He goes back over to the others. They talk for a few mins. They all start getting back in there strike force machines. As for the two Fire Men as they are walking to there Wagon they look over at me,(As I'm stirring up the "CHARCOALS!") They got sh*t eating grins, laughing and are shaking their heads, they wave to me, get in there wagon and everyone leaves.
Good thing the SS guys called in the UN Men (Fire Men), or it could have been bad. (Good eating that night)... : ) <<< me
