Today the President was in Florida attending GOP fund raisers, he also thanked the Senate for Agreement on Pending War on Terror Legislation and also visited the Tampa Bay Buccaneers team's training camp in Tampa, Florida. He then returned to Washington.

YOU lucky dog! er....person......I envy you. My husband and I like to visit Presidential libraries....we'll make it to GHWB's when we have more time in our life.....and can make the trip. Tell him hi, from us Freepers!!!
What was his name???
Anyway......MORE good news for the guys in the white hats!
WOO HOO....looks great!!! Thanks.
And now, I am really going to bed. See you all tomorrow!
Oh, I can't watch TV. I didn't bring mine to DC cuz we only get local channels in our rooms, which I almost never watch. If we want to watch cable, we have to go downstairs to the basement. This building houses 120 women so I doubt the likelihood of me being able to watch anything, ever. I haven't watched TV since before I got to DC. I just meant that I didn't see it online anywhere.
Glad you liked it
Night
That's exactly what I thought...and how much it had to hurt not only to have that surgery done...but the recovery - yeeeeooouuuuzah!
Nite snugs...sorry I missed you....
Oh wow! Make sure to give us a report about it. I so hope that you get an autograph. How neat!
Very cool indeed!
Yeah, recovery is the worst. Trying to get used to doing things that used to be so easy. *sigh* You never realize how useful something is until you can't use it. Maybe I could have a meeting with him and we can share surgery stories :P
A wonderful toaster!!
Thank you muchly for the recap. From the way McCain spoke of the Senate action on the matter of questioning the enemy, you would have thought that HE, McCain, had won. It was only when the announced said that Pres. Bush is urging the Senate to get it signed before they recess for elections that you'd know BUSH WON!
And the rest of your recap is fantastic.
Okay...sorry about the long personal story! ;-)
Yah, sorry you had to go through so much, too. And, my young friend...it doesn't get any easier as your shell grows older ;-)
Sheesh...I'm still trying to figure out how I broke my ankle by twisting it. But there was also the time I broke my elbow...and then when I reinjured it several years later and found out that it never healed properly...oh, and there was the time I sprained my wrist...I'd say I don't have a very good track record now.
I will give it the best shot I can and will report back, hopefully with good news.
Think of all the things that happened in Poppy Bush's career, how many different things he did. Ambassador to China, CIA, vice prez, wasn't he in the House of Representatives as well?
I remember John Quincy Adams, who served in the House of Representatives after he was president. Secretary of State too. Worked with an ambassador as a young man, in Russia.
While in the House, he was fighting slavery and the gag rule [don't talk about slavery] in the years leading up to the civil war.
There is much good W and Jeb can do, many things to consider, after their terms of office are over.
