It's the keyword spammers who are the problem. They'll add a keyword to 30-40 old threads on the same day to get them noticed.
---
scribbling notes here,, I always wondered where some of those weird keywords came from...
and you say there is a bad mod and an evil mod too? and one of the mods is a guy.. I thought we had an all lady mod squad..
Thanks for the thread, it's always good to have some refresher threads on proper and acceptable use of the forum features and such.
How you all keep up with the whirling macdervishes that frequent this place is a testament to the volunteer spirit that helps make this an oasis in that vast internetosphere so many of us call home these days.
Whaht about posters who do not know what the proper keyword is?
Like this troll ZOT thread? I saw this one go down. Funniest thing I had seen at Free Republic up to that point.
I am laughing so hard. Post #20 was so funny.
I must bookmark this thread for a recurrent good laugh.
Could you add a proviso to this...Anyone who posts the annoying list of several hundred keywords in the zot threads will be subject to 40 lashes?
ping for later study
"This guy are sick"
Can't resist a joke. Young hillbilly math student returns home from college. Father asks "Tell me some of that mathematics talk son. Son replies, "Pi r squared." No, no, son, you are wrong. Pie are round, cornbread are square.
Thanks for the ping. Oftentimes I've noticed the keywords can be quite funny.
Illuminating thread. Policy is always a good read. But you have to admit those keywords are funny. I always read the keywords, it's like seeing how to be funny with the lowest amount of keystrokes.
One of the all time great threads, with 552 keywords beginning with every letter in the alphabet. (We made sure of it) >:)

I know what you mean.
Now that's my kind of thread. LOL
How about keywords that are snide remarks directed toward people who don't know how to use the search feature? One of my pet peaves is duplicate threads or un-needed threads (and yes, I've been guilty of this myself). I admit to using keywords like "searchbeforeposting" or "trysearching" or "doasearch". Is this OK?
No, that's not ok and we remove them when we 're alerted to them.
