Mexico - where bounty hunting is illegal - claims Chapman jumped bail after being charged with illegally detaining Luster in June 2003.
A new special about last week's arrest will air tonight (10 p.m.) on A&E.
Chapman, who is out on $300,000 bail, said on yesterday's "Today" show that if he goes to prison in Mexico, he will be killed by inmates avenging the thousands of fleeing felons he's brought to justice.
"I won't last two days," he said.

When you hear about how our own law athorities came in like swat team to get them then you just have to realize how much their power has corrupted them. They could of just knocked on the door and said "come with me". They had no reason to think otherwise. Cowards hiding behind power. That is what they are.

And how about the federal agents busting into his home like he was a criminal on the run? Like everyone in the world doesn't know where he lives and where he does business and that he runs around with a bunch of camera guys following him....ah ha! They didn't want his arrest to be filmed! All because a worthless rapist, that they couldn't catch, was finally brought to justice by Duane. I wonder if they are some of the warriors of Waco? This is beyond disgusting! They endangered his family, including innocent children, by their actions. I am absolutely outraged!

Unless it's the U.S. Then you don't need to have any respect for it's laws. They only punish citizens.
I think Dog is probably off-base on the idea that he is being traded for a Mexican drug lord, if you read the quotes from Dog's lawyer it's clear he has no evidence for this but is speaking out of frustration.
I'll bet DOJ and the Marshals Service received the extradition request and simply processed it, with no horse-trading involved.
Funny attitude. The Mexican government was harboring a known convicted felon. They refused to extradite him. So a US bounty hunter (I don't give a rip who the bounty hunter is) does what the Mexican government and the US government wouldn't do, and now the US government has sold him out.
The next thing is going to be when a Minuteman member, even a US service member, or Border patrol agent doing their job will be hung out to dry....oh, wait - that's already happened... Our government is so soft on Mexico, it's not funny.

Exactly but that makes for poor drama.
My very first thought when I heard that Dog had been arrested was, "He's pissed off some Fed and they set him up". I was right.
