Today's FEEBLE

YOKE :

Two blondes were driving along a road by a wheat field when they saw a blonde in the middle of the field rowing a row boat.

The driver blonde turned to her friend and said "You know - it's blondes like that that give us a bad name!"

To this, the other blonde replies "I know it, and if I knew how to swim, I'd go out there and drown her."

Well, if it was at the theater, it would come down to choosing one out of three - that's how many I saw this year outside the home. Those 3 were XMen 3, Superman Returns, and World Trade Center. I know this will piss people off but I have to say World Trade Center.

Ah, a chocolate fiend, huh? WE have a lot of them here.

I've got a cute story for you and Mojo. This is a quick blip from a book I'm reading by Nora Roberts.

In the story the main female character (MFC) is recovering from a tragic event in her life that has left her neurotic. She's on the move and has landed out west in a small town. She is a trained chef and decides to take a job at the local diner as the grill cook. One day she's having a bad day and the Waitress who has taken her under her wing, so to speak, goes into the kitchen to talk to MFC to find out what's wrong. MFC, of course, is trying to blow it off. MFC is on the floor trying to clean under the sink (she likes clean). Waitress, after getting rebuffed on her quizzing, tells MFC that she has chocolate in her purse. MFC comes out from under the sink and sits on the floor and looks up at Waitress. Says, "Chocolate? What kind?" Waitress tells her the kind, yada, yada......minutes later they're having the chocolate and everything is fine. LOL

When I read it I just had to laugh cause it reminds me of us women (and probably some men but they refuse to admit it) and how it seems to make everything alright! BTW, Nora Roberts puts a lot of humor in her stories. I've only recently started reading her books. She can bring her characters to life.
