#74-Pinkos SMASHed at Walter Reed - September 15
The Army (BlackFive), Navy (Citizen SMASH), Air Force (Tantor) and Marines (Major Pain) converged on the sidewalks in front of Walter Reed to deliver a stinging message to the Code Pink commies.
Citizen SMASH came to Washington on official gummint business but he did not leave his passion for pestering Pinkos in San Diego. Week after week he’s joined the FReepers at Walter Reed celebrating and thanking our wounded heroes. He’s also been winning “hearts and minds” among the commies waaaaay down the block by assuming a passive attitude and allowing them to spew whatever’s on their minds into his little recorder. Citizen SMASH has amassed quite a collection of audio moonbattery in which the ‘tards consistently claim to support the troops. Last week, we were witness to the most blatent display of Pinko hypocrisy to date — the commies turning their backs on wounded soldiers and telling them to leave the Pinko area! This week the gloves came off. It was time for Citizen SMASH to confront the seditious mob and maybe, just maybe, convince some of them of the error of their ways. To execute his plan, Citizen SMASH recruited the ultimate warrior, veteran of both Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and Operation Iraqi Freedom - Major Pain. |
|
Upon arriving at the protest site the Major wasted no time. He waded in amongst the smelly commies and gave them a few pointers. I saw what I thought was a new moonbat, but then noticed he was smoking a cigar. Pinkos hide when they smoke cigs and none of them would be caught dead with a big ole stoagie! Then I noticed that the commies weren’t acting exactly friendly towards the new guy and there were some raised voices (couldn’t hear the words over the traffic). Next thing I know he’s loping across the street and the mystery is solved. |
Introductions are made all around and the plans for Operation SMASH Code Pink are laid out. The wily and witty Tantor had scouted the enemy position earlier and brought back some valuable intel. With yours truely playing the part of Pinko Bruce (yech! what an odious assignment) we rehearsed the mission in the church parking lot. When all was ready we set out to take up our positions. tgslTakoma and I set up as observers/FReeper Media just outside the enemy’s perimeter as Citizen SMASH and Maj Pain took a longer route to approach the commies from the opposite side. | |
Behind enemy lines. |
Kevin McCarron and "Weasel" make a furtive attempt to expel our heroes. |
With BlackFive monitoring the situation from FReeper HQ (the MOAB corner) and the Major watching his back, Citizen SMASH launched in to his prepared speech. In a loud, clear voice unmistakable above the traffic din he told the Pinkos how their brand of “support” was hurting the brave men and women in the hospital on the other side of the fence. The pair observed a few of the lefties debate whether or not they should turn around and talk to the men, but the only ones with enough nerve to give it a brief try were “Weasel” and Kevin McCarron (of “Enlist here and die for Halliburton” fame). With a purposely derisive “Goodnight, ladies”, Citizen SMASH concluded his speech and the engagement came to an end. Next week we’ll see how many casualties the Pinkos took. The text and audio of the lecture can be found at SMASH UNLOADS ON CODE PINK and you can SEE the confrontation thanks to the wonderful work of tgslTakoma here. |

We'll be back out at Walter Reed next Friday night, September 22, from 6:30 until at least 9:30 at the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Elder Street, NW in Washington, D.C. This is the first event in a weekend full of patriotic activities. Click the image above to see the schedule, list of speakers and all the latest news.
The bus from the Fran O'Brien's dinner is still rolling.

Being there with us in spirit is great, but we need people to hold the MOAB (Mother of all banners), other signs, and flags. Maybe you can't come every week, but please make it your patriotic duty to join us at least once in the near future. This FReep is rewarding, fun, and important for our troops and our nation.
We are told every week by patients and family members that our presence at the gate means a lot to them. The wounded warriors inside the hospital are heartened by the sight of ordinary citizens cheering for them and displaying our heartfelt thanks for the service and sacrifice they've made on our behalf. Just like last week, we were told again that the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan know we're out here cheering them on.
Way too much fun and it didn't cost a dime (or court fees). I tell ya, it recharged me when I would see you guys out there on the corner on the internet when I was in Iraq. Keep it up you are making a huge difference!!!! --Major Pain
A couple hours one night a week is very little to give compared to what they've contributed!
As always, the DC Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence. No profanity. No racism. No provocations. Obey the law. Treat all law enforcement officers with respect.
