The Corriere della Sera reported that local terror experts said they are paying close attention to threats made by an Iraqi armed group regarding its intentions to attack Rome and the Vatican in response to Pope Benedicts remarks on Islam.
I'm still going to Rome in February! Terrorists be damned!
"complacent, appeasement-minded Westerners."
Which term includes the New York Times.
I am not a Catholic, however I am very happy that the church, unlike many churches have not bowed to political correctness. I know they are not without their problems, but they continue to stand firm in their beliefs.
LOL!
The Swiss Guard are quite capable with their halberds, they're also quick and accurate with an MP5.
Has Rome any nukes?
I don't think so. But France does. Go figure!
"Give me an army saying the Rosary and I will conquer the world."
-Pope Blessed Pius IX
No, but they'll send in the nuns.
An attack on the vatican would rile American Catholics even if some may disagree with the Pope. It has done nothing to harm anyone for a very long time.
An attack on the Vatican would rile Christians worldwide, Catholic or otherwise.
The religion of peace. God deliver us.
Islam, a worldwide plague.
An attack on Rome and the Holy Father will seal the fate of Islam.
Islam will cease to exist.
No.
Yikes. Just read that linked article/quote. Perhaps it is now time to start calling the Islamic Nation an 'Empire'. The Islamic Empire. They tax the nonbelievers or force them to convert. They have stated goals that the conquest of Rome and the Vatican are in their plans. They have already conquered 1 billion of the planets inhabitants. Please note I am using the negative connotation of the word 'Empire' here. The U.S. could have been an Empire, but we have chosen not too.
Already on it. Let's get going.
