Welcome to the FReeper Canteen! We're honored to have you with us for another weekend of fun, music, and amusement. We hope that you enjoy the selections provided at the top of the thread and throughout the entire thread. If you love our military, currently or served in the past, we hope you feel comfortable. Thank you for your service to our country. To our allies, thank you for all you do by standing with us!! |
Until you return home, we're here!!
|
How this works! 1. Selections are provided for the enjoyment of our Troops, Veterans, Allies, and their family members. They're priority numero uno! Got it? 2. You can request music via the thread by pinging laurenmarlowe. She does this for free because she doesn't know any better. However, please be patient and treat her well and she'll load up your request for our Troops. Thanks!
**Please ping laurenmarlowe (Requests Diva) for any music requests you may have for our Troops. GodBlessUSA (Thank you for a fabulous job last weekend as a junior sweeper!!) is also available to help with music requests! Remember to be nice when requesting songs or Ma will send you to the corner without blinking! 3. If you are just a lurker and not a member of FR, you are welcome to send us requests via email at musicrequests4u@gmail.com . Please put *Music Request* in the subject line. If we don't get back to you right away, please don't fret. We'll get there. These threads tend to fly! If you're a FReeper, ping laurenmarlowe or do it via FReepmail. Please help us free up the email for lurkers! 4. Not all music will be appropriate for kids. We welcome families to enjoy the music, but the ULTIMATE RESPONSIBILITY lies with you and not us. If you click on something and are offended, that's on you. We try to provide ample warning, but it's your mouse and decision. 5. Want to tick us off quickly? Hotlink our music! That is an absolute no-no! This is provided free of charge to our Troops, Veterans, Allies, and their families. Hotlinking takes bandwidth that could be given to them. Jukeboxes at the Canteen are created through this program! Be careful! The music might be offensive on the site! |

Do any of you remember Hee-Haw? They'd always have this skit about "what's fer dinner?"
It was always something like Hog Jowls or 'Coon Tail in a calve-belly gravy and on the side they'd have collard greens with fat-back dressing?
Well,
Tonight, I fried up some Beef Sausage , then I added cut cabbage with liquid smoke and garlic.
On the side we had corn with okra, and mashed 'taters..for dessert, I served a "dump cake".
What about ya'll?
To: GrandEagle
Hey Grand,
I missed you last night, I had to sleep.
Things are good here. How 'bout you?
To: Randy Larsen
To: Mad Dash
You weren't an Ashcan..
You have a soul ache.
You have a beloved brother that you looked up to and respected. He was a hero.
The guys that went through the same things your brother endured are here to make sure it is different for today's serving Soldiers.
This is your opportunity to honor your brother's memory...
Hug...
