I will not be here for the first hour of tonights program. Thought I would put it up for those FReepers overseas that are viewing it now.
For those who wish to see the clips the Clinton lawyers complained about, Click here
Greta is a Hillary-lover. Gag me. I wonder what REALLY went on in Hillary's mind on 9/11.
I think it intentionally portrayed the Bush administration as incompetent and not capable of handling an emergency. Interestingly, Albright was the villian of the Dems and the same for Condi on the Reps side. As a matter of fact, almost every female character was portrayed as hysterical, bitchy, or stupid.
Casting "President Palmer's wife" as Condi was creepy for me. :^)
Closing the borders completely? Like closing that border crossing in Canada where they caught the Millennium conspirator? Then what?
Close the borders for illegal immigration and build a fence all you want, but if 9/11 teaches us anything, is that as long as we are a free society trading with the rest of the world, then we are vulnerable to people who will use our freedoms against us. Our only hope is to pacify the places the vermin breed.
Makes you wonder if the FBU hadn't made such a deal out of the briefcase incident - he'd still be alive today??? Hmmm...
Bawahhha, now that's funny coming from him, after all the movie does portray him as "MIGHT MOUSE"!
Pound for pound its relatively weak and low brisance.I've always wanted to rig up a crude 'carburetor' using a squirrel cage fan as the prime-mover for the air; let it run at the "stoichiometric" point into a small valley for about ten minutes then strike an arc and observe ... gas is SO much more available ...
Thanks for posting this.
After watching the film I realize what a great man and hero Mashood was.
He was assasinated two days before the 9/11 attacks. Early on, after we went into Afghanistan, I sent boxes of goodies to our servicemen there, and had my grandaughter pick out things to send to the children in Afghanistan (we placed a note in the box to explain we wanted these items to be sent to the proper person/persons so it got to the children).
As we went through the aisles to pick out items to send, I explained to her why we were there, and how the children there have lives so different than hers. At first she was into getting stuff for herself.
We ended up sending school supplies to the children there. Of course she picked out Barbie dolls, and I said, "No the girls your age there can't have these," then explained why. And I explained how girls there weren't allowed to go to school.
Then, she picked out a stuffed dog and a bear. I then explained why she couldn't send these. By the end of the Christmas shopping trip she quit begging for toys for herself, and really was intent on providing those children in Afghanistan some of the comforts she has always taken for granted.
It was a powerful lesson for her, and I hope it made a difference. In fact, I know it did. In August of this year she and I went on a camping/fishing trip, (she is now 12 years old) and she couldn't quit talking about how much she learned on that one shopping trip, along with other things I've tried to teach her over the years.
Don't worry about it. You don't need to apologize.
"I too thought that one of the great lessons of the Path was how inept government is."
Yep, you've always got massive layers of bureaucracy. Everybody spends their time making rules and regulations.
MIGHTY MOUSE! Sheesh!
Duh, make that FBI.... ugh silly typos.
LOL. Yes, that's enough for us to want it taken off the air.
Where was the Hill?
Clarke had far too BIG a part in the film and was made to appear far TOO heroic/brilliant/wonderful. This was the FICTION part, referred to in the constant disclaimers, I hope. *snicker*
Yes, yes, yes, YES(!), Gorelick's WALL should have been named and referred to over and over again, without end.
Condi and Cheney were made to look terrible; sadly.
Last night's show was much better done.
LOL...I can't believe CLARKE is complaining..since HE is practically the ONLY one that comes out looking "good"..sheeshClark-e came off looking like Clark KENT.
Oh, I agree. However, with Patricia Heaton playing her, I was in agreement with parts of what she was saying - and I still am. We have a very hard time infiltrating ME circles, intel-wise.
It was a master stroke and well done.
"I can't believe CLARKE is complaining.."
He's trying hard to help out the Clintons. I'm sure he's quite satisfied that he looks good.
Why can't the Dems see the severity of all this??
Or are they just that desperate to get the White House back?
