I didn't hear if anyone was planning for a live thread of the film tonight. Just in case anyone wants to start early. Some in Australia already have seen part 1. Part 1 airs tonight at 8pm Eastern Time on ABC.
Absolutely! 8 years vs. 8 months .. that's my mantra. But, I have an "other shoe drop" anxiety about tonight's presentation.
Listening to Rush right now and he said he made a call to someone who is in the know and they reported that out of the five hours they cut exactly 1 minute.
I sure would like to know what that 1 minute had in it. I picture that Clintoon was standing at the sink when Sandy Burgler was trying to call him to get a decision on taking out Osama.
I thought last night was to be 3 hours, but it ended 15-20 minutes short of that and they put in filler. So I'm not sure about the 1 minute cut. Doesn't make sense to me.
Look at it this way........the general public has had the entire truth about xlinton's treasonous inaction denied them by the leftist media.
On the other hand, they have had the lies of the left hammering Bush for five years about this. The average American hasn't had a clue as to what really happened.
The truth is that, though they (the President, Condi, et al) have admitted not being 'on war footing' before 9/11, the sure and steady response of the Bush administration after 9/11 to change things and fight the war against these monsters is undeniable. Even the lying, filthy left can't hide it all.
Even if the portrayal tonight not particularly flattering to Bush, it's better than what the media has portrayed thus far. And the damning of xlinton by the facts shown last night can never be erased by spin.
I don't see how we can lose here.

Don't. President Bush has been the victim of some of the most vile attacks in history. There is no criticism he (or we) haven't heard already. This President, whether we agree with him or not on various matters, is a true American Patriot. He has an inner strength that people like Bill Clinton will never understand. We can take whatever they dish out.
Someplace on this thread (someone help me out here) are a couple of urls that have the cuts. I watched the clips last night. How long does it take to hang up a phone? How long does it take to speak one sentence? Not very long.
