Note to all about the Internet Movie Database discussion boards. Any movie with even a slight political bent has threads that will make the DUmmies appear sane by comparison. I'm told it's Seattle based company. Most intelligent conservative posts are deleted. They never met a moonbat theory they didn't like. Those stay forever.
I haven't waded over there lately, but this movie is being attacked in spades without even being seen. The posts are so predictable.
Just an FYI for those who want to frequent their boards.

Is it just me or is Clarke coming off as a hero? I think Clark was a resource or adviser for this film. IMO, that is why Condi takes such a hit. There is serious personal animosity on Clark's part toward Condi. As I understand it, it related to a promotion he didn't get.
To: kabar
Clark works for ABC but ABC does not disclose it as and underpoint.
Notice how they portray as if Clinton and GWBush had equal time.
How much time did GWBush lose to algore's hissy fit?
How much time was lost to clinton children messing up the offices (removing the "w" keys etc.)
Is ABC in a civil war between their news and production divisions?
Hmmm how much time before we call ABC in a quagmire.
Is ABC trying to rehab the Taliban?

I read an article about how Clinton didn't think he could avenge the Cole because they weren't SURE who did it. Riiiight.

"Maybe ABC can get another interview."
They did get an interview once, and John Miller was the man who interviewed bin Laden.

Yeah, I know - I put question marks at the end in error. My point was she said a "very" fictionalized version. She would love to have us all believe the whole thing was fiction. Thanks, though.

It appears that ABC is slightly ticked at Clinton etc. and letting them have it regarding having up to 5 chances to get Bin Laden and didn't take advantage (although trying to lay the blame at Tenant's feet).
ABC is quoting CIA sources that they had multiple chances to nail Bin Laden.
Given that it is ABC, this was rather even handed.

Now they are talking about Tora Bora and creating the agenda that Bush failed to get Bin Laden too.

It's just about to start on the west coast. Obviously for my amusement ABC just aired a Maria Cantwell commercial where she says that the Bush administration isn't doing enough to protect our country. Oh, the irony!

I agree. I remember how the Northern Alliance was hung out to dry, just like Somalia. How anyone can defend the Clinton 8-years in the White House is a huge mystery.
To: EmilyGeiger
Yup. Masood. "The Lion of the Punjab" Northern Alliance leader of the Rebels in Afghanistan. Fighting the Taliban and Bin Laden.

Oh, good point. I forgot the Cole was late 2000.
It will likely be in tomorrow's show.

Makes sense.
As backstory, at that time I had a friend who was a total "black helicopter/tinfoil hat" type.
He had me scared to death because I knew nothing about it all and he was a computer whiz.
It was a nerve-wracking time.
