[history]
I didn't hear if anyone was planning for a live thread of the film tonight. Just in case anyone wants to start early. Some in Australia already have seen part 1. Part 1 airs tonight at 8pm Eastern Time on ABC.

I don't intend to watch tomorrow night either; I only watched tonight to see what the clinton/maddie/burgler hubbub was all about.

And now we have the nutcase Amy Madigan. She and hubby Ed Harris are as leftist as you can get. Can not believe she signed on for this.

Rummy said had we ever thought of it(using our planes) we would have done something about it. Our guys, media wet dreams to the contrary, are not a bunch of dimwits.

The Rats like to say that conservatives did the same thing with the Reagan film but, as usual, they have selective memories.
#1. Not one Republican Congressman or Senator contact CBS about the Reagan film.
Unlike the Democrats in Congress who tried to pressure ABC. So much for censureship - it's okay when it's FOR democrats.
#2. CBS didn't edit the Reagan film in any way.
#3. CBS did give the film to Showtime and admittedly that received a smaller audience.

Drudge is reporting that when the movie goes into the timeframe of the Bush administration it makes Condie look like a fool. Much as they may hate the thing overall, the lefties will eat up any Condie bashing. Their unbridled racism (against any black who dares be a conservative) will get the better of them.

Petronski says it didn't happen yet... the phone thing. How is married life treating the two of you? I hope you're in wedded bliss that will last for years and years.

Oh, and I'm sure you know all that about the Reagan film - that was for the benefit of the historically challenged DU'ers. LOL

It makes me mad watching this as well. I also watched something I think on History channel last night that covered this same thing in a true documentary form. It talked about how they had to tell Pakistan before sending the bombs and the pakistani's tipped them off. it mentioned that we couldn't get Osama once because there was an UAE airplane at his compound, and another time where they were going to kill UBL and the CIA panicked and told them they couldn't give information to people who might use it to assassinate UBL.
