Fox News has been running internet coverage of 9/11 events on an unpublished internet stream. I have been watching the coverage since this afternoon after I discovered the link was active.
At midnight EDT, Fox just rolled over the coverage and restarted it with Fox and Friends at 8 a.m. EDT, Tuesday September 11.
The Windows Media Player link can be found here: http://foxnews-foxstream.wm.llnwd.net/foxnews_foxstream

Does anyone belong to a news group? If so, you might find a copy of the video there.
I can't tell if it's just not working or everyone is making the server busy! LOL!
The link is not working this evening
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my FoxFan list. *Warning: This can be a high-volume ping list at times.
Nothing this morning so far.

It would be great if someone who has already downloaded the bulk of the stream posted it as a torrent somewhere - seems like that would be the best way to grab the entire coverage at this point.
There are some who did get most of it I think.
According to an email I received from Fox News today,
THEY WILL BE STREAMING THEIR COVERAGE OF THAT DAY ONLINE MONDAY.
If you can't get it tomorrow, you can tape it then.

I'm in NY, and for the first hours, I got my news from 1010 WINS. I found and downloaded the following large audio file, and from what I can figure out, it starts around 12:30PM EST, and ends around 1:15PM EST. For anyone who wants to experience the local sound and feel, I recommend this. Too bad it's not longer.

One hour of radio clips from NY and DC stations. Scroll down to the Sept 8 2005 listing.
If I find more, I'll post them. Please pass these around - I don't have a ping list.
I don't know what I did, but I downloaded the bit torrent client, and the torrent sucessfully.
Thanks very much.
If you're going to upload more 9/11 stuff, please let me know. I'm on dial-up, and don't know if I can get the Fox netcast tomorrow. At least I can let the computer download overnight for the big files.
