Fox News has been running internet coverage of 9/11 events on an unpublished internet stream. I have been watching the coverage since this afternoon after I discovered the link was active.
At midnight EDT, Fox just rolled over the coverage and restarted it with Fox and Friends at 8 a.m. EDT, Tuesday September 11.
The Windows Media Player link can be found here: http://foxnews-foxstream.wm.llnwd.net/foxnews_foxstream

I agree, there's no such thing as bad press.
BTW, some time ago I came across this site which is apparently run by a 9/11 conspiracy guy, wherein he has made available what he claims is live CNN and FOX coverage of the event (the first 90 minutes or so for Fox; the first 2 hours for CNN) splitscreened in a giant 4.7 GB MPEG-2 file.
I haven't tried downloading it because I don't want to tie up my Internet connection for that long only to discover all sorts of stuff about demolitions and missiles and whatnot in it. But it might be OK if it's what the guy says it is - just the raw footage.

Glad to know I am not the only one still at it. :-)
Thanks ChadGore... any idea if you happen to know when the stream cycles i.e. how often does it start from the beginning?
That domain name, llnwd.net is a private data service, not a Fox News link at all.
CedarDave has used the link in the past for some other item unrelated to this, and was just lucky enough to stumble on this.
My guess is that they use llnwd.net to push content to their affiliates and we just got lucky with the link.
The stream doesn't seem to be working for me atm... I'll try again a little later.
thanks!
ping to web cast 9/11
bummer - should have tested before forwarding - the webcast is down again - maybe it will start back up at midnight as it did 2 nights ago............
"What was the time period covered in your taping...later in the day, or the morning?"
Sorry for late reply..my recording lasts from about 14 minutes before the report of the first plane, until shortly after the collapse of WTC-7.
Mark for later

Wow, cool! Don't know what your plans are for it, but if you are going to make it available to others, let me know.
anybody else not able to view this now?
No, I don't think it's on right now.
I was ehm .. "lucky", but I saw the streaming from the second tower hit. and until bill og reylly later in the night was talking about carpet bombing to scare people from ever doing this again. They sendt 15 hours streaming at least i thing from that day. But no there is nothing

Set your alarm clock early tomorrow and check the thread at 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. EDT for activity. No guarantees it will be up.
You also might check at midnight EDT as they restarted it at that time the other night. Again, just speculating...
Can I RIP this on to Windows Media Player to record it?
