Though there was no actual confirmation that the Presdent and First Lady spent the weekend at Camp David I assume they did because photo were released on Sunday of them returning to the White House from Camp David along with the Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
Today the President celebrated Labour Day by making remarks during a Labor Day observance at a maritime training institute in Piney Point, Maryland, he also toured the facility.

Fine now that the cold is going, it was pretty grim over the weekend though.
I am pleased that college is going great for you.

No our labour day is the first Monday in May.
We had last Monday off though because that is our August Bank Holiday Monday. It used to be at the beginning of August signaling the beginning of the holiday season but they moved it because it being the last public holiday before Christmas the idea was to space the holidays out a bit more.
So nowadays it is at the end of August signaling the end of the holiday season.

Re: the Brutus Powell article
It is bad enough to betray anyone, but to betray our Dubya is infinitely dispicable.
Probably no FReeping tomorrow. Tuesday and Wednesday are orientation days for work, and I'm staying overnight at the hotel. Not sure I'll be able to get to a computer. Wish me luck. I shouldn't be, but I'm a bit nervous.
Goodnight all.

I hope you get all the way better. :-)
I'm going to bed. I have work tomorrow. Please pray for me and the other teacher Amy. Our kids aren't doing too well. We can't get them to mind, or listen to the lesson. It's really hard to break them in since "school" is only twice a week.

Several years ago I remember Rush Limbaugh saying that during the Revolutionary War the country was divided in 3 - 1 group was willing to fight for freedom - 1 group didn't want the fight - and 1 group didn't give a rip.
Nothing's changed ..........
