A wave of illegal-immigrant gang rapes is sweeping the U.S. while public officials and law-enforcement authorities fear drawing the link, experts say.
Deborah Schurman-Kauflin, a Ph.D. researcher of violent crimes, told WorldNetDaily, "It appears as if there is a fear that if this is honestly discussed, people will hate all illegal immigrants. So there is silence. … But in being silent about the rapes and murders, it is as if the victims never even existed."
Schurman-Kauflin, who runs the Violent Crimes Institute in Atlanta, participated in a 12-month, in-depth study of illegal immigrants who committed sex crimes and murders from January 1999 through April 2006.

The study found approximately 240,000 illegal-immigrant sex offenders reside in the United States – while 93 sex offenders and 12 serial sexual offenders come across U.S. borders illegally every day.
Americans for Legal Immigration PAC told WND it now is tracking 12 gang rapes by illegal aliens within America's borders since Oct. 2004.
ALIPAC's president, William Gheen, said, "These are just the ones we know of. The real number is much higher."
Gheen told WND he believes the number of gang rapes is increasing as the population of illegal aliens in the U.S. increases.
"Many illegal aliens have a rape and pillage mentality toward America," he said. "The government has shown them they can break our laws on many levels without much fear of enforcement. Why should they think of rape or gang rape any differently?"
Gheen said, "Illegal aliens are more likely to engage in these crimes because rapes and gang rapes are much more common in the gang-rule Third World areas they come from."

Almost all of my family carries. Unfortunately, she was getting out of the river in her swimsuit when she was grabbed. From what I understand, she was the last one out of the water in her group when she was snatched. No one saw it happen. Thank God she's alive!

"oh, 2% of illegal aliens apprehended are sex offenders, obviously that means that 2% of all illegal aliens are sex offenders, even the old ones, the children and the women, and look, close to 10% of americans apprehended commited a murder, I guess that that means that 10% of americans are murderers".
Even a child could notice the flaws in that methodology, obviously that won't stop people from parroting these 'facts'.
Intellectual dishonesty is sickening.
I'm not against closing the border, I'm against people that make up facts just to support their point of view.

Thank God indeed. No doubt her group feels terrible and somewhat responsible. I doubt there will be much swimming anymore with mexican looking people around. And when there is, the group will be watching each other like a hawk. The technical term for that is, "hypervigilance." Except obviously hypervigilance is necessary, when the enemy is among you. I recommend you study up now on clinical depression; she'll have it and it will have to be dealt with. She'll need the family's patience. A lot of people suffer from depression who've gone through a lot less trauma than she has.

I appreciate your sentiment. Most posters here on FR agree that politics as "business as usual" must change, but are unwilling to support anyone but the "business as usual" candidates.
This is precisely WHY I constantly harp at my wife to be aware of her surroundings 24/7...100% of the time. All you need to do is slip up just once...I do not let her shop alone, and encourage her to do so only in groups.
I hope not...I just have a feeling that this is happening more than we think, but many women just aren't reporting it.

Assuming all of the sex offenders are male and that half of the 300,000,000 people in the US are male, then 1 in every 625 males in the US are "illegal-immigrant sex offenders".
I've said basically the same thing ages ago. Since we have absolutely no respect for our basic laws, why would one expect an illegal alien to respect them. The first thing he or she does is break the law and sees that it isn't enforced. Our government sends a strong signal here.
This should come as no surprise for anyone with an ounce of common sense. However, when you head to DC, you leave your common sense behind in the old home town.
