Immigration officials have now picked up all but two of the eleven Egyptian exchange students who came to the U-S for a summer course in Montana but never showed up for classes.
U-S Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents tracked three of the students to Des Moines, Iowa, where they were arrested yesterday. Others were picked up earlier in New Jersey, Maryland, Chicago and Minnesota.

Here's an idea to start.....ban all entries to the USA of men 18-40 yrs old of Middle East or Muslim origin. Deport any non-USA citizen in this age range of Muslim faith. Sorry...but drastic times calls for drastic measures....

Well they have to have financial support for their cohorts that came to study chemistry and physics so they will have a better understanding of BOMB MAKING.
I believe that was culturally his mistake. He is male. The ticket agent was female. He is used to being able to intimidate women. Somehow, he also thought that being on a student visa gave him some sort immunity. Perhaps in a county like Egypt, where university education isn't as universal as it is here, that is true.
We know a female university professor at a small, third tier U-WI school. She constantly complains that the Arab students will not listen to her, ignore her, demean anything she says and are generally insubordinate and arrogant. She teaches English literature.
It depends doesn't it on just what these young people were up to? What if they are just sent to Montana to go to school without in depth scrutiny. This whole thing smells to high heaven especially when you find out the terrorists in England were all between the ages of 20 - 35. These young people had been brainwashed into terrorism. I certainly hope our Homeland Security people "water-board" these 9 "students."
Did not present themselves by and large when words was all over the news (i.e. fugitives).

It is astounding how many people in this country have no connection to "news" on a regular basis. When uninvited youths from one's home town in Egypt happen to drop in, looking for life in the USA (their story) the last thing the host wants to know is if any LEOs are after them. After all, "undocumented immigrants" have been entering this country with impunity for decades.
Too bad this group of chancers chose to try to get in from a university-university program. They were not anonymous enough.
I wonder if they had gone to Montana, spent their month there and then happened not to take a plane back to Egypt would anyone ever have known that they overstayed their visa?
