This year, we are told, the Muslim commemorations associated with their calendar date 27 Rajab will occur on August 22...

If as the president of the Reform Party in Syria, Farid Ghadry claims, Ahmadinejad is planning an illumination of the night sky over Jerusalem to rival the one that greeted the Prophet of Islam on his journey, then it is difficult to imagine anything other than a full-scale Iranian nuclear attack. As Spencer continues, a nuclear attack on Jerusalem or even an all-out conventional assault against Israel by Iran would be consistent with Ahmadinejads oft-repeated denials of Israels right to exist and recent predictions that its demise was at hand. These observations are the latest from a growing list of ominous portents from Iranian and Syrian leaders too horrific to ignore.

Do you think they will do something?
If I were Iran I would not mess with God's chosen people!
The illumination that greeted the "prophet of Islam" was
the fires of Hell.
Please, not the "God's chosen people" crap. This sounds as lunatic as the Iranian nutjob.
Maybe they haven't heard about it and don't have any contingency plans.

Mansfield: A Final Warning from the Islamist Rulers of Iran?
Excerpt:
In Mansfield's emailed newsletter, in commentary I don't find on her website, she notes:
===[begin Mansfield]
I suggest that everyone read this very carefully.
The holy Koran stresses this common word and calls on an followers of divine religions and says: [3.64] Say: O followers of the Book! Come to an equitable proposition between us and you that we shall not serve any but Allah and (that) we shall not associate aught. With Him and (that) some of us shall not take others for lords besides Allah, but if they turn back, then say: Bear witness that we are Muslims. (The Family of Imran).
Quoting the letter from Amahdinejad:
-----
Mr President, According to divine verses, we have all been called upon to worship one God and follow the teachings of divine prophets.
We increasingly see that people around the world are flocking towards a main focal point - that is the Almighty God. Undoubtedly through faith in God and the teachings of the prophets, the people will conquer their problems. My question for you is: "Do you not want to join them?"
-----
The gist is this: Iran's President has just officially invited the US to embrace Islam.
This is NOT good

This almost sounds like something coming from the WND spam machine or Dr Armstrong's church. I think since it is being discussed it would not happen, but I think the showdown between Israel and Iran is about to happen.
It's almost ironic since Israel gave Iran spare parts during th Iran-Iraq war.
my 5 bucks is in
then you will see the deepest longest trough. Russia will then have a southern warm water port....maybe too warm from radiation to be used immediately...
"Do you think they will do something?"
Yeah, I think they will do something. And I think we will be at war with Iran by Labor Day.
"Please, not the "God's chosen people" crap. This sounds as lunatic as the Iranian nutjob."

One can only hope.
If they do touch off a nuke, Israel will survive, but Iran and Syria won't.
My bet is that whatever they have planned, the device(s) are stored in their underground bunkers near the Lebanese/Israeli border just waiting to be touched off, either by remote control or onsite suicidees.
No...I remember it was until August 31, to decide....not the 22nd.
If the Shehab class missiles are in the sky and arcing towards Israel, Israel probably can't afford to wait to see if they have ball bearings or plutonium as a payload. When missiles are fired, protocols are followed. If a missile were arcing from Cuba towards Washington D.C., we in the US were fully prepared to nuke Moscow merely as a reaction to the launch. You can't wait to see if the missile's a dud or not. Israel probably has over 100 nukes, some of which are probably on a hair trigger. If Iran sends missiles on over, even if they are convention, we might have a nuclear war on his hands. Will he do something? Well, he's done everything he said he would do so far, and no one has had the stones to stop him in the least. The West's vacillation has created an extremely dangerous situation.
If the Moooslums succeeded in destroying both the nation of Israel, and killing a majority of the Jews, would that prove they are not God's people? Not the chosen? The bible is false? Just some random thoughts. I was thinking that if the West destroyed the symbols of the Moooslums, and their mosques, would it then prove that Their God is not the ONE?
