Stillwater, OK: Hideaway Pizza
Really good standard pizzas...but for a change of pace, try the BBQ Beef pizza.
(Although I don't know if The King ever made it to The Hideway, I have
heard Elvis did like BBQ Beef pizza of some sort.)

[Mellow Muchroom] Where's that located??Atlanta, originally, but they've expanded throughout the Southeast. I was a bit startled the first time I saw the familiar sign in Orlando. I see from their site that they've made it as far as Texas.
Very good pizza, but not my favorite -- gotta go to Chicago for that. But Mellow Mushroom calzones ... mmmmmmmmm.

How exciting! I will most certainly come & bring the family!

DeLorenzo's in Trenton. It's called Tomato Pie. It's where everyone goes. Alito and Scalia used to eat there. There used to be more Tomato Pie places in Trenton but not as much anymore

So you're the one! No really, it was a sad day when they converted from those old stone bed ovens, the pizzas never tasted the same after that! You're right about that. I remember when I first developed what we called the "pizza radar," where you just knew it was time to shift the pizzas around in the oven, or when a pizza was done. Workers at Pizza Hut always thought it was cool when they developed it. Those were the days before the "conveyor belt" ovens.
Can you imagine OSHA inspectors today, if they saw us reaching into the ovens with a pair of channel lock pliers to pull the pans out of the ovens, without wearing some sort of heat protection on our hands and arms!
