Ok, I need help. I need a very good Conservative answer as to "what is a liberal?" Someone has asked me what a liberal really is and I need a good answer. If any of my fellow freepers want to give me their opinion of what a liberal is I would be greatful!

What is a liberal? A moonbat, crackpot, America hater, who feels that the UN should be running America, the internal combustion engine is a terrorist and that Islam is a religion of peace..

A Liberal relies on guilt and emotion to inform his world view. Facs are of secondary importance and reality can be manipulated to obtain the desired ends (the ends justify the means).

What is a liberal? It is the last stage before becoming a full blown Marxist.

A Liberal is the embodiment of everything you've ever heard or seen, and in disgust said, "Just Damn..."

My favorite definition is: somebody who doesn't know sh## about sh##.
This has come from careful observation through the years that the more politically knowledgable one is, the greater chance they are a conservative.
It may seem self-defining or circular, but it's true.

Conservatives look at 9/11 and see a chance to fight back.
Liberals look at 9/11 and see an environmental issue.

Liberals: Godless, valueless, communistic, marxist, baby-killing, America-hating/blaming, insane boneheads.
But that's just my opinion.

I had a boss that once said that liberals and conservatives are both in some way intelligent, except that liberals were incapable of seeing anything other than what was right in front of their face. Conservatives are able to see years and decades down the road. I don't totally agree with this, but I think it's part of it.
My opinion is that liberals are informed by their animal desires. They want what they want, and any logic they apply to their position is merely a justification that allows them to appear civilized. They would throw civilization to the ground if it allowed them to live in a little ideological or physical comfort.

A liberal will never understand foreign policy because they believe in the moral equivalence of all parties. For example, liberals think that communists only have a different form of government and overlook the fact that they oppress their people.

Self dissatisfaction or low self esteem projected on the world under the incorrect unworkable yet intoxicating guise of "helping others" simply through having nice thoughts and opinions.
That and a resentment of white male judeo-christian civilization and unborn babies pretty much sums it up.
Does anyone know a truly happy liberal?
oh yeah....at least down South....a woman who lets her hair go grey early....99% of the time is a liberal....no painted toenails either.

Another favorite definition is: somebody who doesn't know how to say "No".
Anything goes, there is no absolute truth, I'm OK, you're OK. You can't stop anybody from doing anything because, hey, he might be right, and I might be wrong. Who am I to say "No"?

Your questioner knows what a liberal is. He is goading you. You shouldn't play along. Tell him to go to hell. That's my opinion/advice, anyway.

Go and get Ann Coulter's new book "Godless". She sums them up quite well. Then, go buy "How to talk to a Liberal" from her too, then you can communicate with them.
