Corker ran as not taking money from lobbies and then took literally millions from them. Painted EB as owned by special interests and corrupt.
Ford has been running on a platform that seems to be the oil companies are gouging you and giving to Republican crooks. From what I have heard, and this may be incorrect, some of Corker's cash comes from oil revenue. This will be fodder for Ford to use.
Corker can hit Ford's family, but I'm not sure how that will stick.
Currently living in Indiana, where I've resided for the past decade.
Even though I'd force myself to support Corker in the general election, it's still a tragedy that he's likely to be the Republican nominee.
I did not say he was a conservative. I said he ran as a strong conservative. I have stated that I believe he will vote as a conservative in the US Senate.
And he used it to buy the nomination.

I didn't start. I always love when folks drop in out of nowhere to post insults at me, and I especially appreciate it when they don't know what the hell they're talking about. Some of us actually do know what's at stake here.
I liked what he had to say on t.v.....I read about him in articles and the internet. I read all his mail and brochures that were mailed out. Van Hillary was too laid back for me and Bryant (?) didn't do anything for me. In a nutshell, I voted for the one I preferred to win!
It looks to me, that Bryant is losing everything but his old congressional district, which he is winning about 55-45 or maybe a bit more, but something like that. The only Nashville area county he is winning, was the one in his old CD.

Corker will win only because of money and TV ads and because the GOP for Bredesen types that run much of the State GOP here wanted it.
You should examine who they fubar our State House in a solidly GOP state ....just for reference.

As a matter of fact I live in Bristol, the Tn.Va. city. I am sure you probably know that the state line runs down the middle of the main street in downtown Bristol. (The real home of country music.)
Bryant is 65 votes behind in Davidson County with one precinct left to report. Is there a better election return site than Tennessean.com? They haven't updated the overall totals in 30 minute or my refresh button isn't working!

You may be tired of seeing posters saying "I quit", but I said nothing about quitting. I said I will not aide and abet the liberal hijacking of the Republican party with candidates that misrepresent their actual positions or espouse goals contrary to the Conservative movement. That is their ultimate goal is to take both parties, and I've been a party to witnessing this charade for years.
I don't particularly think I'm asking too much that we have the left stay where they are in their party and manage their own affairs, and the right to keep control and have the imprematur to nominate candidates for the GOP. When the Republican party allows these rich liberal punks to write out a check and sell their soul, it ceases to have a reason to exist, as it becomes nothing but another appendage of the diseased 'Rat party. Corker is a symptom of that disease, not only in TN, but in many other states. So please, pardon me all over the place, when I get damn angry watching this disgusting dog and pony show.
