Assad must be chewing down on magic mushrooms to do something this stupid. For all its weaknesses dealing with urban terrorists who are suicidally zealous, Syria is the kind of adversary israel finishes before lunch. And right now the IDF will welcome a chance to feel good again.

The U.S. should send the Syrian army the same place it sent the Iraqi army - to Hell, then PULL OUT.
Let the fools stew in the wrecked debris of their nation amid the ruin they have brought upon themselves. Let the fools from France or some other idiot nation worry about paying for "reconstruction."
Then we should do the same thing to Iran.
