Israeli combat soldiers walk along the Israeli northern border with Lebanon. US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is pursuing a new round of Middle East diplomacy as the Lebanon conflict moved into its 19th day, with Israel and Hezbollah exchanging firepower and threats in defiance of international moves toward a ceasefire
Iran, and the Islamic cults have run rings around the good guys for 30 years.
This is nothing new.
LOL...I saw that military guy say that....and I was wondering why Hannity and Colmes didn't loan Greta the pictures they had of the hugh rocket launchers that were JUST out of view of the TV cameras today.
CNN is AlJazeera West.
Doesn't matter. They were given the opportunity and the entire world is a witness. If they don't leave it is choice and the reaction to something happening to them will be completely different.
Here is something I didn't know:
Syria doesn't have diplomatic relations with Lebanon:
Who owns the Shaba Farms? Shlomo Avineri writes: The emergence of the Shaba Farms as a possible item in an agreement authorizing a multinational force for South Lebanon raises a number of issues of which not all the participants in the current negotiations may be aware. They go deep into the question of the very existence of Lebanon as a sovereign state. (JPost)

Is there a link to the pictures of those launchers?
G/nite!
through the media.
just as they did with iraq, the US media will run these stories day after day after day, and slowly US public opinion will turn. ceasefire, civilian casualties, "condi's war", dead children, and on and on. already you see the effects - look at the comments from Bush and Condi today - instead of a rebuttal message about how hezbollah uses civilians as human shields, the message is "concern and sorrow" - which simply lends credence to the story.
when you see this pattern change - let me know. because until it does, the endgame here is almost inevitable.
Do we have a choice?
Hmmmmmm, I think....radiation might be more appropriate ;o) If you know what I mean.
here is some math for you [in support of my pet theory ;)]
at every decision making point in your post, one of the options is "Olmert is a twinkie". So, given the limited spectrum of time in which this conflict takes place there is a 50/50 shot of Olmert being a twinke by your account
Now lets look at all points in time prior to this conflict, and i'll wrap it up nicely in one of Olmert's more infamous quotes:
"We are tired of fighting, we are tired of being courageous, we are tired of winning, we are tired of defeating our enemies."
Now do the math.
LOL!
yes
You are mistaken. Ahmadinejad means what he says. He (and the regime) should be taken very seriously and terminated with prejudice before he can launch.
Bach terms?
I need another beer....
