Israeli combat soldiers walk along the Israeli northern border with Lebanon. US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is pursuing a new round of Middle East diplomacy as the Lebanon conflict moved into its 19th day, with Israel and Hezbollah exchanging firepower and threats in defiance of international moves toward a ceasefire
Thanks
What was that all about? Is he an ally of ours in Iraq?
All part of a large and well planned instigation.
Need to move past trying to prove it it's a scam, and figure out who's doing it and what they plan to justify with this.
"That's so eharmony"
LMAO! Either that or...that's so Brokeback Mountain...
David Asman just said on Fox that one of the biggies in Iraq has called for a cease-fire - that muslims the world over will not look with favor on nations that do not support it.

Iraq's top Shiite cleric demands immediate cease-fire in Lebanon
Iraq's top Shiite cleric Sunday demanded an immediate cease-fire in Lebanon, warning the
Muslim world will "not forgive" nations that stand in the way of a stop to the fighting.
Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani issued the call following the Israeli airstrike that killed at least 56 Lebanese,
mostly women and children, in the village of Qana. It was the deadliest attack in nearly three weeks of fighting. "Islamic nations will not forgive the entities that hinder a cease-fire," Al-Sistani said, in a clear
reference to the United States. (AP)
I just searched for the necklace I want and it didn't come up with anything; those nesting dolls are beautiful and colorful.
Guess I'll have to go shopping tomorrow.
"But Ali said!" ;-)

I just now saw that. He can go pound sand. Ungrateful SOB.
"What was that all about? Is he an ally of ours in Iraq?"
Yes, he's kept the "lid on" so to speak, but he needs to worry about his own country before he meddles elsewhere.
Oh, I love those nesting dolls.
BTW, my family has a "bottle" of water from the River Jordan that my grandmother brought back years ago; we baptize all our babies with it.
I love seeing the look on the faces of the ministers when we say "We have our own water." :-)
Al Sistani is the "moderate" Shiite cleric who is seen as a calming force in the country--I believe he helped tamp down Sadr's rebellion in the eastern region in Iraq.
Everyone needs to realize, no Arab country likes Israel. They are brought up on hating Israel. So this is understandable. Israel is not going to get an allie out of Iraq any more than out of Turkey.
"" I'm trying to find something else to listen to ""
I finally shut the tv off and dug out my VHS of "Apollo 13"...
Guess, after listening to the drumbeat of lib lip (even on FOX) all day, I needed to watch something that'd let me feel proud of my country -- even if I have to go back to 1969/70 for it......
Allegra, what are you hearing over there?
An article about Kofi's failure to budge US. Very current.

Nah.
Syria's going a little wobbly on them, and they're trying to get them back in line.
Yes...I was pleasantly surprised that they extrapolated out the past...to what needs to be done now..
I just wish their news reporters felt the same...LOL
