I think you have mentioned that you don't watch TV...but, last night, CNN showed a special about the Bombing of the Marine Barraks..
It told the story from before, during, and after the US participation in Lebanon back in the early 80's....
The Marines have never forgotten that episode..and I don't think it would take much to get them to slam Hezbollah pretty hard.
The DEMS are going to be in REAL trouble with their Jewish voters if they have too many of them spouting that crapola...I would hope.

I saw that CNN special too last night. I thought it was reasonably well done, considering the source. I was actually surprised that they drew the relationship between our response (or lack thereof) to the barracks bombing, Clinton's pullout from Somalia, and the terrorists' conclusion that the U.S. is a "paper tiger" that will "cut and run" if we suffer casualties.
I wonder if the former hostages have seen that...it still hasn't been confirmed if he was one of the terrorists that held the US embassy captive
I just found one online that is the Christian cross and the Star of David, so if the Christian gift store in town doesn't carry something, I'll order online.
I saw that program, and thought it was quite good. I had a friend who was killed in that attack, and it still makes my blood boil just thinking about it. Hezbollah deserves payback big time.
My first thought on seeing someone wearing both is that they're a Messianic Jew.

It IS a diversion, one with considerable assets behind it. Butt kicking sound system at the Beirut UN riot, and the ability to call up large numbers in quick order.
Could this be the (manufactured) casus belli Iran's been hoping for?
Specifically, can this be spun up and used by Iran to justify attacks on fellow Muslim countries, like Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, maybe rump states to close the Gulf, and succees in giving them impugnity for same?
Or do they need more to justify that kind of offensive?
