I think you have mentioned that you don't watch TV...but, last night, CNN showed a special about the Bombing of the Marine Barraks..
It told the story from before, during, and after the US participation in Lebanon back in the early 80's....
The Marines have never forgotten that episode..and I don't think it would take much to get them to slam Hezbollah pretty hard.
I saw that CNN special too last night. I thought it was reasonably well done, considering the source. I was actually surprised that they drew the relationship between our response (or lack thereof) to the barracks bombing, Clinton's pullout from Somalia, and the terrorists' conclusion that the U.S. is a "paper tiger" that will "cut and run" if we suffer casualties.
I saw that program, and thought it was quite good. I had a friend who was killed in that attack, and it still makes my blood boil just thinking about it. Hezbollah deserves payback big time.
