Thanks for the confirmation. Sleuth mentioned reading thru the threads and I thought she was referring to the many posts here that the people didn't really seem injured... Like the bearded guy or the striped shirt guy. But apparently this was not 'staged' and there were in fact many dead.
Cause we're hear all the time, we care passionately, and can get very frustrated by the news.
But it's good to check what else is going on and participate there, too...

I am a very competitive fellow if you want to call it that, but I ain't here to win an award either for posting the most 1 liner Breaking News threads w/o links (not that it is a bad thing , mind you), a few folks are pretty good at it, it is the nature of the beast and the media rich age we live in, I reckun. I don't mind beng a backfiller, the "pay" is the same after all. lol ;-)
Bottom line, I don't care if I post a Breaking News events or a new promising health care item, just so the truly genuine news of interest is snagged and available down the road if needed..

Yes, I did hear Pelcot. It's curious to me that they didn't photograph any of that. Seems like they would have wanted footage of the bodies, in order to maximize propoganda points.

I thought exactly the same thing. Started arguing with the TV. Mrs S looked at me like I'd lost my marbles...The fact that Rorabacher even admitted that Hezbollah is the root cause of the current conflict is nothing short of amazing.
