At least two or three people shoot.
SEATTLE – At least two people have been shot at the Jewish Federation at 2031 Third Ave. in downtown Seattle. One or two people have been taken into custody but it's not known if they are suspects.
One person was reportedly shot in the abdomen and another in the arm. They are being taken to Harborview Medical Center.
Part of Third Avenue and Second Avenue have been closed to traffic. Police are urging people to stay away from the area. It's not known if more suspects are at large but policemen were seen handcuffing one person and others were searching the area.
At least three people were seen emerging from the building, escorted by police. It's not know if they were hostages.
Medics, escorted by police, have been taking other people from the building.

Now a reporter on a scene reporting reaction from a local Muslim group, who 'expressed condolences'.

Last Saturday night, another Pakistani went into a Fairfax grocery to buy goat meat and decided while he was there anyway, he would cut off his hand in the meat section.

Outside, another witness said, the man announced that he had used the meat saw to cut off his hand "for Allah."

Guess the talking points got faxed out to everyone nationwide from HDQs after evening prayers/face-rug time.
The law offices where I work are just one block away. My wife was in freaking hysterics, before I finally managed to reach her via cell phone and let her know I that I wasn't in the "target" area, and that I was all right. (... and she's only calmed down marginally since then, really.)

I need to sit down and just... breathe for awhile, tonight.
