I'd rather see GWB "pander" to US citizens (NAACP) than see KarLaRazaRove pander to illegals.

He may or may not have been pandering. It's only brought up when he speaks to minorities. I wonder if it's because they're not white or because they're libs. Now I'll be really surprised when folks start crying pandering! when he addresses the usual conservative groups like NRA, pro-life,etc.

Larry Elder ain't exactly white, you know. ;)

As for the folks here at FR, quite a few did accuse him of pandering last year during the Terry Schiavo case.

some people are never happy. A FR made a good point. Hey at least he's pandering to citizens, not illegal criminals.

While its not the fault of Republicans, the GOP didn't really maintain the emphasis on civil rights that it had in the 1860's. By FDR's time, they had the stereotype of being rich and aloof.
