Hezbollah terrorists fire a missile from the southern Lebanese city of Tyre.
Wish you had not posted that, now I am REALLY curious. How the heck are we going to be able to cover two Police actions here? lol
Yes, and there was a GREAT discussion following, too. Gotta remember to have my wife read it - maybe she'll understand why I spend time here. I don't always agree with Southack, for example, but if you can get him past impatient one liners, his analysis is pretty interesting. I sometimes think Southack may be Condi Rice's "evil" alter-ego. Come to think of it, is he (she?) posting on this thread? I have a question (possible / apparent inconsistency in his arguments from various posts.) And would love to see his(?) take on Lebanon as things stand now - but maybe I've just missed it.
That seems possible, but I think they're just trying to keep Sadr from becoming the next Nasrullah and Iraq from descending into civil war or anarchy.
OReilly's next segment - "fair coverage of the israeli/hezbollah war - he will name names".
you mean, like:
S-H-E-P-A-R-D S-M-I-T-H
LOL...he'll probably have Shep on...
Ok, I'll bite...why is your wife electric toothbrush next to your coffee grinder.
I am listening to John Gibson's radio show...and he had as a guest the lawyer for that group of "Americans" that are suing Condi and Rummy for not getting them out of Lebanon and sending more weapons to Israel...which could be used to harm or kill them.
I cannot even tell how ridiculous the interview was..I will say that the lawyer's main complaint is that Condi Rice didn't call for a cease fire long enough to get all of the Americans out of the country.
Oh..and BTW, his clients are in what John Gibson called "Hezbollahland" in South Lebanon.
What surprised me was this man's insistence that there was NO travel warning for Lebanon before the war started.
I could have SWORN that I had heard several news people say that there had been a travel warning from the State Dept. for YEARS...
But, after a commercial, John came back on and said that the guy was right...that there was no travel restrictions/warnings until 10 days AFTER the fighting started.
Does that sound right to you?
Well, they're a good four feet apart... They're both upstairs -- the kitchen's too far, pre-caffeine, so we keep the coffeepot close by.
I'm pretty sure I read there were travel warnings in Lebanon and had been warnings for years; I think Gibson is wrong about that.
But someone with a better memory or knowledge than I have will weigh in and I'll check in later.
there was no advance warning as to when it would start - what did they expect to get, a tip from hezbollah that they were going to capture and kill those IDF soldiers?
I would attribute the additional troops to Al-Maliki's visit here...and the fact that Abizaid said that the "cleaning out of Baghdad" wasn't going fast enough.
I think the part about restrictions may well be right. I do think there were State Dept warnings before that.
"Bibi thought so too...but he lost the election. If Olmert does make the mistake of going ahead with giving away more of the West Bank...Bibi may be PM again really soon."
I think he'll lose his job sooner than that if he doesn't let the IDF off its perverbial chain
I LOVE DirecTv...have had it for years and years..the only problem is some signal problems if a storm is just right in the line of the satellite dish..
But, when we had cable our cable went out during every storm it seemed like.
Okay...here is the part about Househunters that shocks me...the prices of the darn homes!
Living in Texas, our home prices are chump change compared to a LOT of America, especially southern California.
There is NO WAY I would pay what some of those houses go for..sheesh
Shep alert!
