I'm pretty sure I read there were travel warnings in Lebanon and had been warnings for years; I think Gibson is wrong about that.
But someone with a better memory or knowledge than I have will weigh in and I'll check in later.
I'm pretty sure you're right, Peach. I'm pretty sure I remember seeing something about warnings, just in the last week. I'm pretty sure I even remember seeing the actual warnings posted on at least one thread.
Actually Gibson said there were...and actually laughed at the guy and said "Why would our government have to risk their lives to go to Hezbollah land to get your clients, when they had been told not to go...but if you go, don't expect the US to bail you out"..
The lawyer argued and said no there was no warnings or restricitions...Gibson said he thought there was.
When he came back after commercial..he said the guy was right..so, he must have checked...but it sure sounds SO different from what I had been hearing.
