JERUSALEM - A barrage of Hezbollah-fired rockets aimed at northern Israel fell short of their targets and struck a United Nations observation post in Lebanon, the Israeli army said Friday. An army spokesman said it wasn't immediately clear if the United Nations Interim Force post was occupied at the time or if there were casualties.

I have too go into Prayer.
I cannot watch TV news or updates/blogs.
Our family has chronic health needs and in order to stay focused I have to go off....line.
I am so upset about the unrest I just want to vomit.
Praying for all our Troops and Leaders.
Some one ping me when it is over.

It's the Holy Land; doesn't the bible itself express a great deal of feeling about turmoil there? If God gets upset (so to speak)isn't it reasonable that people would too?
I don't see any miracles needed in this one. Israel will lay the total whoop-a$$ on the stiff necked Hezzies and relative quiet should follow in Lebanon for at least a few years.

The person is making him/herself ill in the process.
No need for that.
While it is sad what's going on, it is also positive, at least in my mind. This needs to come to a head. Hamas and Hezbollah need routed. And I expect Israel will do the job.

Now Hezbollah is in trouble. They've grabbed Kofi's tail and they will pay dearly.

Well, well, if rockets have to land anywhere, I suppose a UN outpost is the best place for them--at least the rockets aren't hitting "innocent" civilians.
My blood pressure ALWAYS goes up when I watch the news about this. The earlier part of this week my husband and I took a vacation to go fishing. The only news we could get was CNN--yuck. So, we were barraged, for 4 days, by images of ignorant Americans who had been foolish enough to take a "vacation" to the Middle East. Honestly, that was all they were covering. We came home early because I missed the Internet, and you guys, so badly!!

In related news, the UN issued a statement condemning Israeli forces for moving out of the way.

More like "oh, those poor Hezzies, they are so beset by the cruel Jews that they can't even get good rockets anymore."

. Actually, it probably was. Why would they want to bomb their buddies? Truth be known, the UN post was probably feeding them vital information on troop movements of the Israelis just over the hill. From the location of the UN installation, it looks like it was positioned to keep an eye, not on the Hezzies, but the Israelis - Certainly they did nothing to stop the Hezzies from further arming-up and building a vast tunnel system filled with explosives right under their literal eyes...when they were under the UN mandate to DISarm

Fell short of it's intended target? See, if Hellabazoo had decent foreign aid, they would have developed better guidance systems!!
Thsi is Bush's fault. Kofi's gonna be pissed.
