Did you see the story about the man who risked his life to make Dubya a rug? That man has more patriotism and American spirit than all the liberals in this country combined. I'm sure our president will cherish it.
If we had to put a face on America and all she stands for, I'd pick Dubya any day.

I saw that article on Opinion Journal this morning. It is amazing how the libs are using the hated (by them) Ronald Reagan, and distorting history, to try to make President Bush look bad.

***THE UN has become a safe haven for Thugs and Dictators. When Cuba and Sudan are on the Human rights Commission. that is all the proof I need***It has been that way for years. In the depths of the Cold War, the UN had the so-called "Non-Aligned Nations" which were not supposed to be aligned with either the US or the USSR, but they were ALWAYS against the US.

Hi Deb. Thanks for the excerpt of the Fred Barnes piece. I totally agree with what Barnes says. I love President Reagan. He was a great man, but that's just it. He was a man, subject to human failures as well as successes, just like all of us. He doesn't need to be turned into some caricature of a saint in order for his place in history to be assured.

all that was needed was the "S" removed from his chest and replaced with "UN" From the reviews I've read, that is perfect. Good one, Mike.
