I WAS regretting not having TV access until I read some of yalls comments......
Yikes! The TV would be thrown out the window by now, lol
Sorry, that map link should be:

But boy could he hold off some muslim turks... what a scene.
Oh, here: http://counterterrorismblog.org/
I also recall Dick Morris saying that when he asked Clinton for a raise Hillary said something like, "That's all YOU PEOPLE care about."
I feel sorry for your friend...but this situation was inevitable. Lebanon has been hurt so bad by having terrorists in its bosom, but has not had the power to keep them out. First they got bit by the PLO, and now it's the Hizbolah. Neither group has done that country any real favors...
Don't expect the MSM to point that out.
They're getting desparate in Lebanon... the Hezzies will start snatching people if they don't get them out. Syria will not let us pass through. If anything happens to one US citizen... that's their ass.
Well of course not.
Thanks for posting this.

Not good. Iran has really been helping out Hezbollah even more than we previously thought, I'll bet.
This, from Haaretz:
"15:43
Iran: Hezbollah will not be disarmed, despite calls from Israel and U.S.
(Reuters)"
...spells the relationship out succintly, and ups the ante significantly as well.
If Israel (or the U.S.) backs down now then Iran has won.
LOL! I am glad the President keeps an eye on him. Condi is on Chris Wallace, won't divulge the plan for getting Americans out, says she's monitoring it. "We will do what we have to do."

"Iran gave Hizballah 11,500 missiles and rockets"
At the risk of sounding a little like Kos here, I've personally never had much sympathy for Americans who voluntarily go, and take their families, to potential or actual war zones like Beirut, whether the purpose of their presence is work or vacation.
If you go to places like that at the request of the gov't and with its express or implicit agreement to protect you, then the gov't has a duty to get you out safely. But otherwise, you're pretty much on your own. So good luck with all that.
Nice! Thanks for this..

The Soviets won in Vietnam, lost in Afghanistan, and conceeded the board in 1990.
In my opinion, Iran wins when they have nuclear weapons, and when we agree to any price for oil they choose to charge, including converting to Islam.
My response to that scenario would be "Not over my cold, dead planet."
