The latest Haaretz headline says the IDF fears a missile attack on Tel Aviv.
The Hezzi's have something that will go 80 miles?
Apparently, they have 20+ missiles with the range to hit TelAviv, i think its called the Zedval

I think that she does a fabulous job, but I can remember being a little disappointed when she made some comments around Oscar time about how much she liked Brokeback Mountain. She said it was a wonderful story. We need to cut her some slack. She was in Hollywood. Where kowtowing to their gay masters is a ritualized art form.

"About 25 percent of Hizbullah's capabilities have been hit, a high-ranking IDF officer estimated on Sunday night at the end of the fifth day of Operation Just Reward. According to the officer, the group's chain of command is still functioning. He estimated that the Lebanese group would not be annihilated when the dust settles, only severely damaged. The officer predicted that the operation would end in the middle of next week."Any chance of NATO going in to keep the peace and finish the job?
To: sofaman
He estimated that the Lebanese group would not be annihilated when the dust settles, only severely damaged. Hizbullah is a multi-headed hydra. The only way to kill it is to cut all it's heads off and chop up the rest.

DUmbass think Clinton smooching Arafats' a$$ actually solved anything. As I stated earlier, LIEberals love empty talk that never accomplished anything. "The U.S. was engaged..."
Ellis can't come up with a better lie than that?

Hi - I have read more on Lebanon's history in the last couple days than I ever thought I would. :o) There is no doubt in my mind that the Lebanese army does have some Hezbollah members. And I expect that is an open secret.

Bob Bevelacqua used to work with Col Cowan in an elite security consulting firm. Not sure if he is still part of the group, but, he has spent a lot of time in Iraq doing private security and consulting work .
He turned against the war shortly after the invasion -he gave an interview to David Corn in the Nation in which it was hard to tell the difference between the two. He comes across as a pompous know it all and is no fan of SecDef Rumsfeld or President Bush.
I heard from a SF friend of mine today that some guy in a goatee made an ass of himself on FOX .

The first line of defense would have been electronic counter-measures that would have disrupted the radar guidance of the missile, and then an anti-missile missile, that can shoot down the incoming threat. As a last resort, the Vulcan close-defense system would have destroyed the C-802 at ranges under two kilometers. Earlier in the thread I think a saw something about the defense systems not being set to auto-engage threats because, with all the Israeli jets in the area, they were more afraid of taking down one of their own jets in a friendly-fire incident

the US was engaged...yeesh! what a crock that is...if the US was so engaged how come the ME is still a problem? In toher words, for all Clinton's engagement, he achieved bupkes.
His way didn't work, now it's time to try a different way.
