When Israel called up all those reserve units I knew some poo poo was coming down the pipe in a hurry.
I have a feeling the evening news tonight isn't going to full of its usual, cheery stuff (/sarc.)
It does seem as this plays out that the arabs are seriously gunning for a full-blown all-out war with Israel, probably believing that this time it can be defeated.
If I were them, I would be more concerned about what the God of Abraham might think about their little plan.

By what route would the terrorists transfer the Israeli soldiers to Iran?
Can this transfer be stopped?

What is the possibility Iran takes the transfer and returns the Israeli soldiers in to the UN as a PR move to get everyone off their back?
It would demonstrate Ahmadinejad to be a fairly astute politican, leader, and obfuscator. It depends on whether or not he's really as nuts as he seems or if that's just for show...

And with his believing that, his decisions will most certainly be a potentially destabling wild card. He may choose (and many expect this of him) to act in ways that further his religious world view over the good of his country.

What would it cost to have every soldier in the area equipped with some internal GPS device?
---
There's a simple solution to that.
It's called a knife.
So what would be the point?

I believe he knows what will happen in all cases, but not that he is always the cause of it.Not always, but in terms of his dealings with Israel, his hand has ALWAYS been involved in it.
Quite frankly I would be shiverring in my boots if I had any thoughts whatsoever that this war was being waged without the direct intevervention of God. He is not asleep at the wheel. Nothing is done which is not part of his plan and nothing is done which is not ordained by God.
The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will. (Proverbs 21:1 KJV)
Do you believe THAT?

It's too early to tell for certain but the rate of escalation and the increase in the number of nations becoming involved (directly or indirectly) certainly doesn't give us much hope right now for a quick de-escalation. It's certainly a cause for great concern and bears close attention. Let's just hope and pray it doesn't spin totally out of control. IMHO.

Is it possible that, under the radar of the rest of the world, Iran already HAS developed a nuke or two, and is looking for a pretext to use it on Israel?

Although Ahmed-in-a-Jihad does have this as his first play in the playbook - see Carter - 1979
