The problem is to prove legally what everybody on the planet knows. War law that is.
You know what I don't understand? Why doesn't the world get the meaning of "to the victor go the spoils"?
Israel is urged to give back land they claimed by winning wars and it hasn't worked out well - giving back that land.
If I were the Israeli PM, I would send a message to the Syrian President, secretly, that either he intervenes to get the soldiers released or that he will be targeted. Make it very clear to him. I think the fact that Israel knew where he was and flew over his vacation compound shows that he is vulnerable.

Saddam's bombs in Syrian Valley...Hezzbolah in Syria, Hezzbolah directed through mullahs in ...Iran. Iran getting cozy with Hamas and NK. NK missile tests...how many did they test? Hamas claims to have WMD...House of Saud recently sent money to Hamas...while an Iranian diplomat was in the Palestinian territories...Syria and Iran sending 'mercenaries' in to Iraq to fight disguised as insurgents... So now the enemy is more than a "shadow." The enemy is clearly revealing themselves. Ah.. this is it.

Hmmm, if this is indeed true, then this may give Israel the excuse they need to declare war against Iran, and go in there and destroy the nuclear facilities.
