I would bet this was ALL planned by Iran and coordinated by Syria to either hold an additional bargaining chip or to execute them and show the world how "fierce" their countries really are if they don't get their way.

Do you honestly believe that Israel will cave in to save the lives of three soldiers? I pray for their safety, but they will be sacrificed if there is war.

And then there's God. Perhaps He's arranging pieces on the board. Please tell me that you, a Christian chaplain, don't really believe God operates this way.

Gotta fly over Iraq to get there... I wonder if we'll help it land and refuel...

Looks like Iran is getting involved now. Iran is probably enjoying this. They've been itching for a fight, especially with Israel.

If Iran is going along with it, one might wonder if they don't already have a few operational nukes and are looking for a "valid excuse" to use them...

Could their nuke building be farther along than we think? Could Iran be just itching for an excuse to use nukes on Israel?I don't think Iran has the ability to deliver a nuke to Israel, even if they have one.
But Israel sure has plenty of ways to deliver a nuke to Iran.

I have a horrible thought:
What if right when the aggression began on Lebanon's part, Saddam's WMDs have been distributed to all countries surrounding Israel and fitted into missiles ready for use?

If true, this means Ahmadinejad has completely decoupled from reality and is attempting to bring about the emergence of the Twelfth Imam.

On the other hand: Israelnn reports deal in the works.
Social Affairs Minister Mila Mawad added that the government is preparing a proposal to Hizbullah and Israel which will include releasing the two kidnapped IDF soldiers.

I hope that Bush has everyone in our military at the highest level of readiness...and that he has an twitchy finger poised over "the button"...Tehran and Damascus need to be turned into piles of rubble.

The key difference between Israel's efficiency at doing this and ours is the political decisionmakers' willingness to take action while it can still be done effectively. Another key difference is that Israel doesn't put up with traitorous leakers.
