I like your take better, but we only have 120K forces in theater. Not a lot of boots on the ground should Iran come knocking. Hope you are right.

Since Iraq shifted into a house-to-house guerrilla war, the Navy and Air Force have largely been out of the game. If the war broadens, they're back in the mix. A carrier group or two, backed up by B2s out of Diego Garcia, have a way of making an impression.
