Israel is going to have to invade South Lebanon.
Thank you for the update.
I read some other reports, just now, of heavy fighting on the Lebanon border.
BREAKING: IDF Chief of Staff Dan Halutz enters Defense Ministry war room in Tel Aviv (Channel 10)
There is a lot of celebratory gunfire in Lebanon according to CNN.
Been there and done that (1982-1997).
Better to negotiate for the release, they have done that before.

PM Olmert: Difficult Days for Israel
11:38 Jul 12, '06 / 16 Tammuz 5766
(IsraelNN.com) Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said a short time ago that "these are difficult days for Israel and its citizens." Without referring by name to the sources of terrorism, he said there are forces trying to test Israel.
"They will fail and will pay a heavy price for their deeds," said the Prime Minister. He spoke as he hosted Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi.
Halutz: No More Quiet for Hizbullah
11:44 Jul 12, '06 / 16 Tammuz 5766
(IsraelNN.com) IDF Chief of Staff Dan Halutz stated a few minutes ago that "the period of quiet" has ended for Hizbullah terrorists in Lebanon. Military sources said that the Israeli retaliation to the Hizbullah attack and apparent kidnapping of IDF soldiers will be extremely strong.
The massive Kayatusha and mortar shell attacks Wednesday morning injured at least four people, and one of them was reported in serious condition. They were ferried by helicopter to the Rambam Hospital in Haifa and to the hospital in Nahariya.
I have burning passionate hatred for Fox News, CNN, CNNHeadline News, and PMSNBC. NO COVERAGE WHATSOEVER!
WHY AM I PAYING FOR THIS?
Thank you for the updates.
Isaiah 15: "The burden of Moab."
Heck of a munition...
I finally had it with DirecTV yesterday. They have no news after midnight.
I got CNN Pipeline last night - $25/year.
And I may order BBC World in a few minutes - $6/month.
Finally something on CNN, but they are framing it as "Israel, Hezbollah exchange fire".
All those you listed are for mass consumption. They'll catch up.
In the meantime why not be thankful for getting the breaking news report over an hour ago via a stalwart here a FR?

This is their "out"; the Israelis were invading us. Probably a lie - the truth being Lebanese operatives in Israel did the grab then handed them over to their cohorts.
"According to the Lebanese police force, the two Israeli soldiers were captured in Lebanese territory, in the area of Aïta Al-Chaab, near to the border with Israel, where an Israeli unit had penetrated in middle of morning."
HAL
first news here told of israeli shelling of Rmeich which is in the near vicinity of Aita Al-Shaab. As I know, the border on the israeli side over there is triplefenced constantly patrolled, with electronic surveillance and a large planed dirt road showing the trace of any infiltrator. I do not think that hezbollah has the skill and the capability of crossing this kind of fence without being intercepted first. Something stinks...
I recall the declaration of israeli PM recently in Washington saying that he is not for the change of the power balance in South Lebanon.
This incident tends to give Hezbollah more muscle on the internal Lebanese scene.
