That free fireworks display Kim Jong-Il put on for our benefit on July Fourth may prove to have been the best day George Bush has had since Zarqawi went to his eternal reward.
For years, Bush has been trying to persuade world opinion that Kim is a psycho who cannot be trusted with nuclear weapons. By firing off all those rockets into the Sea of Japan, Kim went a long way toward convincing a hung jury that Bush may have a point. Kim has also provided compelling evidence that missile defense may not be such a silly right-wing idea after all.

I'd bet Japan has nuclear weapons, or has parts ready to go--off the shelf, as needed.
That's a lie, by the way.
"That's why you're keeping track of my posts and giving me such long responses. LOL"
"Tracking your posts...." ?!
LOL!
You sent me a post and I replied.
And yes, I could understand why - with a limited command of English - you would consider my post "long".
Continue the ESL course, but don't worry - it will be easier to communicate in English as you learn.
Who claimed that (besides you)?
Remember this post:
"Only because Pat is all about Israel and anti-Semitism."
Now if Pat is "all about Israel and anti-semitism" and Pat makes comments regarding NK, then according to your previous statement then those comments must somehow be related to Israel and anti-semitism.
As you no doubt noticed I had to really strain to find some way that the situation in NK might be even remotely related to Israel and anti-semitism.
I assumed that you of all Freepers would be most appreciative of my attempts to make your earlier comment ring true.
Yes. You claim I have an obsession with Pat and I don't post about anything but Israel and anti-Semitism. How could you know enough about me to claim such a pattern if you weren't keeping track of what I post? Or maybe you're just talking out of your butt.
And yes, I could understand why - with a limited command of English - you would consider my post "long".
For someone claiming not to care, any such post is long, especially one so packed with ad hominems as that.
I suppose Pat pays you by the word.
You certainly have the same pattern of response as the other Patsies: I criticize Pat, you attack me. Typical.
Being "all about" something is an idiom, meaning being engrossed in or consistently involved with.
It is not to be interpreted as exclusivity, except maybe in some sad game of gotcha.
And Buchanan doesn't want to trade with the world. Convenient, huh?
Amazing...:)
Get a grip, it's ok for Pukeannan to bash the President 24/7 for $$ but we can't touch him? The guy has used Reagan's administration nearly as much as Ronald Not-reagan. His isolation rant has become a bit stale and if you want to be personally offended that is your business.
Pray for W and Our Freedom Fighters
Deploying it might turn out to be a boondoggle, but the investment in the science has paid off immeasurably.
Limiting our government's entangling alliances with other nations does not imply (nor has Buchanan ever implied) that we should also limit trade among ourselves and the companies and individuals of other countries.
A quasi-isolationist foreign policy does not, and has never meant, pulling up the drawbridges and becoming completely self-reliant.
It means limiting government to those few necessary functions and allowing individuals and corporations relatively free reign in their interactions with others.
Just because the neocons seem to be able to come up with dozens of reasons why we desperately need to expand our entangling alliances, does not mean that we should do so.
Ahhh, there's that magic word!
Pat needs a new euphemism for Joooooooooooooos already.
Glad you could read my mind.
Do you also read tea leaves?
If you could consult your crystal ball then we would know what the appropriate policy with regard to NK should be, whether they will ever successfully launch a long range missile, and where it will land.
