Americans are donating thousands of dollars to support Minutemen patrolling the border. But you may be surprised where your money is NOT going in this 4-month investigation.
You're welcome. :-)
You all take care and remember...I can see what you're posting.
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: I NEED $55 MILLION. SEND ME THE MONEY AND I WILL PERSONALLY ASSURE YOU THAT AT LEAST HALF OF THE FOLKS WILL HAVE KIDS WHO ARE ABOVE AVERAGE IN THE IQ DEPARTMENT.
Good idea! I've had almost enough fun for one night.
Sweet dreams. See you in Aspen, tomorrow.
Actually, I do. And I upgrade to first class all the time. I also pay for it myself.
But it bothered me when I heard about Keyes refusing to fly coach. He had come to a local pro-life function to raise money for an adoption group. He gave a speech and raised some, not a lot, of money at this event. However, after his expenses (hotel, first class flight, incidentals), what the organization was left with was embarrassing.
It all just hit me: There was nothing noble or humbling about this man. Why not fly coach, and stay in a Marriott Courtyard near the airport? Why not give those thousands of dollars in expenses (in less than a 24 hr. period) to the cause?
He and his wife should be able to fly whatever class they choose, but they should pay for it. It is said that Keyes refuses to take money for speeches. It would be better for the organization that sponsors him if he did. More money would actually go to the cause he promotes so fiercely.
I wanted to let you know that someone forwarded me this re: simcox..

I don't recall seeing it or much of the info before. He definitely isn't exactly gonna win a Dad or Citizen of the Year or Administrator of the Month award, to say the least if all that is mentioned within is factual.
I guess it's just silly old reactionary old fashioned silly me to cast a jaundiced eye at the MSM when they report on something a conservative grass roots organization is doing.
But I guess all that skepticism just goes right out the window when certain posters have a personal dislike for someone.
L
Of course, you're talking about the Bush haters, right?
Is that good or bad? LOL
"Minuteman Civil Defense Corps is a project of the Declaration Alliance -- a public policy and issues advocacy organization that aggressively addresses the intensifying assaults that the American Republic continues to endure -- at home, and abroad. Declaration Alliance is a 501(c)(4) not-for-profit, tax exempt organization."
Would the Declaration Alliance be responsible for providing documents on their fundraising, etc?
Is the Declaration Alliance another Keyes deal?
L
Yep.
Interesting, huh?
Wouldn't surprise me if it's some think-tank of Keyes', or the official name of his election HQ.
That should have been contraction....NOT conjunction.
Lurker, it is not the MSM. It is a local ABC affiliate in Phoenix. Local stations generally reflect the attitudes of their communtiy, and are different than the national media.
Sorry for the bold, but I didn't want you to miss it, again.
I am not a lawyer, and I try not to see them on TV.
I imagine a quick email or phone call to the organization might clear things up some. Failing that I'd check the web for the relevant regulations and laws.
But one thing is for damned sure. Mr. Simcox is not legally required to answer any charges made by the press in the press.
That much I know for sure.
If anyone has broken the law they should pay.
What bothers me is that the folks who are trying and convicting this guy on the basis of a single report in the press don't seem to give a damn about the 12 million plus people illegally residing in the United States.
Further they expend a hell of a lot more energy ripping the MM than they do the criminals living among us.
That tells me a lot about two or three of them.
L
Local stations generally don't have an axe to grind one way or the other. Unlike the national media.
Where's he running for Senate this time? Pennsylvania, maybe? They need to oust that RINO Santorum.
