Americans are donating thousands of dollars to support Minutemen patrolling the border. But you may be surprised where your money is NOT going in this 4-month investigation.

Polly, it has to be "DESTROY" to them; they cannot accept the fact that people are beginning to catch on to this guy.
I wonder if we're just suppose to IGNORE the facts that are all over the internet just because some of these people put on hats and had their pictures taken with him?

You can't pick it up at Homey D or Wally world.
When is the last time you ordered anything made of steel, like pipes, structural steel or antennas.
Everything is made to order these days and 6-8 weeks is pretty quick for anything substantial.
What kind of engineer are you?
To: Howlin
Oh..........good point, Howlin.
This man of great importance is spending all this time putting ME down.
Should I feel honored? :)

Base, because they're on to you, right? No, base because they hate anyone who stands in the way of their bid to either gain or hold power, and will stoop to things like have been trotted out on this despicable thread.
To: Howlin
you claim to be in spends his time arguing with HOUSEWIVES online. ROFLMAO. Excuse me Howlin, but I think that would be "Base Housewives." I want full credit for my debauchery.
Sorry for laughing during such a down and dirty flame war while the bullets are still flying, but that is just outright funny.

Ah poor little EV. Butch up. You often use that strange term.
You must live in Austin...

Why would he have ordered the material prior to getting the design approved? This is bassackwards and I was in engineering and construction for almos 40 years. What the hell happens if the design is canned, which it will be if based on the Isreali fence, and he is left with fabricated steel he can't use. You NEVER order prefabed materials unless you have all local requirements and your design blessed. This sounds like another crock of crap.

I just d/loaded the real player and watched it. It seems that he had better hire a CPA and a tax attorney to go over his books and money or he is going to get raked by the traitor who publicly declared them as "vigilantes" (aka Bush). I think he is pure, but doesn't have business smarts and didn't know to keep books on the money and spent it as it came in. But, to declare the story as biased is also unfair. They gave Simcox his say and only interviewed former volunteers who love the mission, but distrust the missionary.
To: Texasforever
OK, like you said we will see soon.
Fence is fence. and yes there is a fencing contractor too.
To: Howlin; EternalVigilance
Here's the thing. I would rather it not be true, but there are warning signs that are worrisome. What I am looking for in ALL organizations such as this is transparency. If these guys can open up their books, make a full accounting and show progress I will applaud their efforts. If not, I will remain skeptical. It's as simple as that.
That said, I completely disagree with the TACTICS of people like EV who can not see the difference between wanting an accounting of somethingand destroying. It is dangerous to our positions on this issue and only serves to set us back. It is a recipe for perpetual righteous victimhood. Some would rather assume that position than take responsibility for forward progress.
There are others on this thread with whom I disagree who have taken completely different tactics. I respect them immensely and believe that we can work together to go forward.
That, in a nutshell, is the difference, imo.

This sounds like another crock of crap. Says an expert on such crockery...

Fence is fence. and yes there is a fencing contractor too. The heck it is, that Israeli fence is an engineered fence. As to a contractor all we have is his assertion there is no name to check out. It is not a matter of any fence it is the fence he has collected money to build. If he ends up with 4 miles of cattle fence again he is still defrauding the people that gave him money.

Cattle fence, like in Texas, is widely available. Simple barbed wire, and 5 strand wire and fencepost is off the shelf just like Texas.
To: axes_of_weezles
That's right. I don't believe for a second that any prefabbed steel has been ordered because no one in their right mind would do that without approved drawings and permits. So I am predicting that the next tale of woe is going to be that the county blocked the plan and so they are forced to settle for the Ladd fence again.

Nice to see your clairvoyance. :)
To: axes_of_weezles
Tell me, would you build start ordering material to build your house before your architectural drawings, material specifications and local code compliance was blessed by local authorities?

I would order generic stocks of the required items, yes, due to the rise in the cost of raw materials, if I had a safe place to store it.
