McCain for 2008?
Mike
Posted on 07/02/2006 3:41:42 PM PDT by MikeConservative
John McCain showed such moral uprightness in 2008--Kerry Tried to use him as a pawn but Kerry found him to be more of a Bishop or a Knight, the dudes a POW, he's sensitive yet again-he stands up for whats right. An Officer and a Gentleman---Questions? Answers? Whatever your race or creed, I think this guy deserves a serious look, more serious than 2004.

Nope...not in our lifetime. Keating Five...crapping on First Amendment. I do, however, thank him for his service. And, Imus loves him. That's enough for me. Next case.

McCain is not right in the head.
That is why he is the darling of the left.
Without Conservative support, he cannot win the primary.
Therefore, he will not make it to the general election.

Hmm......McCain......the Arlen Specter of the west.
Like others, I salute him for his service, but he's proven that he'll turn on us at crucial moments.
No chance.
To: MikeConservative
Not a chance, like others I thank him for his service, but the guy is nuts..

I was discussing this with a dem friend today. We may need an Eisenhower non-political type to get us through all this bitter partisan bickering.

Whatever your race or creed, I think this guy deserves a serious look, more serious than 2004. Here is the formula for the probability that I would ever vote for McVain:
Fat / Chance.

Since I don't feel like wasting too much time with an in depth analysis of McCain, suffice to say that McCain deserves squat.

I see no basis for his decision making other than to please the media. Immigration Amnesty, Campaign Finance Crap(60 day blackout and even pushed for internet restrictions, enabling 527s), voting against further tax cuts, and blocking judges. Are you serious?

McCain-Feingold was given a passing mark of 5-4 by SCOTUS, along the usual Liberal-Conservative split but with O'Connor supporting it and Kennedy opposing it. A recent SCOTUS ruling on CFR in Vermont made it clear that Kennedy is firmly against CFR and would overturn McCain-Feingold. And Scalia, Thomas, Roberts, and Alito are with him on this. Thanks be to God!
McCain, like liberals, is opposed to the plain meaning of the First Amendment and wants to subvert it. Sooner rather than later, more rather than less.
