Siegelman guilty on 10 counts; Scrushy guilty on all counts; Hamrick and Roberts not guilty.
I forgot to mention that moments after the Blackberry "verdict in" notification, the device alerted the attorney that "friends" were invited to Seigleman's campaign headquarters for a meet and greet. Go figure.

Correction to original post -- Siegelman was guilty on 7 counts, Scrushy on all 6 of his.
Culture of...oh, never mind.
We were talking about this last night after the local news. Figured there is no way Scrushy will ever be convicted of anything. He could be caught on tape doing something criminal, and still would go free. I guess not this time!
I don't think he called you a name. I think he was saying that's the dog's name. Keep your motorcycle mama an a short leash until you're sure. ;^)
Thomas Jefferson, Democrat Louisiana, was temporarily identified as a Republican in a CBS online news article until freepers raised hell and had them change it.
"Good to see Scrushy finally find one he couldn't wiggle out of"
Doesn't Scrushy still face civil suits re HealthSouth?
I think you meant William Jefferson!
Oops! Mental slip. I should be a reporter!
Boy, you are right...this GOP culture of corruption is going to hurt...first there was Jim Guy Tucker, governor of Arkansas.....oh, sorry...he is a democrat.
Then there was Dan Rostenkowski stealing all that government furniture and taking bribes....wait...no, he was a democrat too.
Then there was the Clinton Labor Secretary guilty of bribes,...oh yeah, he was a democrat wasn't he.
Then there was Sandy Berger stealing secret documents to protect Clinton...wait a minute, wasn't he a democrat?
LOL!
Doesn't surprise me. Finding a RAT down here who isn't up to his/her eyeballs in corruption is not the easiest job.
PS: It's actually William Jefferson, but I get your point... ;^)
I've heard that he's a cat juggler.
That might have been one of the funniest replies I have ever read Crawdad...compliments of THE JERK....LMAO!!
Well you know:
"You can tell alot about a person by the way he lives. For instance, I can tell by looking around here that you are generally a very dirty person"
Ya-hoo!!!!!!!!!!!! I met Siegelman years ago in DC at an Alabama St. Society function....he was a jerk then, he's a jerk now! I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that the sentence is not probation or home restriction....
Seigelman is a Dim! So what does that say about only the Republicans being corrupt! Excuse me, but this guy has never been an (R).....
I'll admit I'm in somewhat of shock, seeing as we knew one of the families. The shock of course is that Siegelman was convicted, it was not the strongest of cases, and it's strongest evidence relied on people who were, well, less than honorable.
Since 1990, we have had 4 governors. Now, we can say that 2 of them have been convicted of felonies.
William Jefferson-gate??
LOL. I knew those Republicans were corrupt...wait a minute which party was Siegelman with?...Has Dan Rather confirmed this?
