Howlin, sorry to read the sad news. Besides a mom, your best friend, no doubt. The one consolation is you will see her again. May God richly bless you with His strength and comfort as you go through the hurt and pain of loss.
Howlin, There is no one like our Mothers. They love us unconditionally, they teach us as best they know, and they want the very best for our lives.
My Mother died August 8, 2005. She was 87. I thanked God that I was blessed to have her to such an age. I miss her daily. Yet, she is with me, in me, and I hear myself saying words in her way, and for sure I think along the lines she taught me.
Jesus is the answer to all our needs. May He bless you and help you during this sad time. God loves you. Praise God for His love and faithfulness.

Oh, my friend, I am so sorry to hear this sad news. May you find some measure of comfort in the sincere and caring thoughts and prayers of your FReeper Family. Just as you know all to well the heartache of grief you also know the beauty of the memories that will forever be a part of you daily life. Your precious Mother still watches over you and I know her heart is filled with love and pride in the fine, strong and spirited daughter she raised. I pray that God will grant you and your loved ones his merciful, healing grace. Stop in as soon as you are up to it. You are missed.
Her mom's funeral is starting right now at 4:00PM EDT.
